  • A few pics of the deeper red colour when the sun is down, brothers in arms.

  • Right.   I gave myself a good talking to and popped out for a little bonding with the new car.   Holy moley it's even more bonkers than I remember the last ones being. Yes, they have worked a lot

You work with Goldie then?

I saw a Fabia VRS at Brands when I was there. :)

I spun when it poured with rain but I spun at the "mans" corner that is Paddock.

We also went to Nordschleife in his GTR.

My photo on here is from that day. (before it rained)

Just a random photo I took tonight after I took the GT-R out for a gentle plod... having come back from ten days on holiday in the Yeti.

Still think it's a great car combo and covers most bases.

You really need to get the wife's out of the garage to complete the red/yellow pattern.

What colour is the new Leaf going to be? - I saw a black one with black wheels recently and it looked completely different from normal (I don't know them well enough to know if anything else was changed from standard)

Popped along to the GTROC meeting at the Ace Cafe today in NW London.

Some pics from the day:

My Nikon had a flat battery, so I was using an iPhone (not great for pics) and my assistant had his Nikon point an shoot. (spot him in the first shot, complete with Skoda cap)

I've taken a deposit on the GT-R...

Sad to see the beast go. But in life we have to move on

Congrats!

It is such an amazing car and it is a shame your selling it.

Hope you hold out longer than 4 days this time  :giggle:

Have you returned it to factory are you selling it with all the mods fitted? Sounds like you had it so well sorted it would be a shame to have to take it all off.

How did you get on selling the rest of the fleet? I haven't been able to find your thread to see how you got on.

It went as a package with the mods and spare tyres/brakes/suspension.

May have lost a few grand like that, but far easier than stripping, refitting the standard parts plus sorting the wrap and paintwork.

Another GTROC member is having it by the looks of it.  He was impressed on the drive how well set up it was over his one.

I've been so busy with work I've been unable to get on with selling other stuff, so rather than mess people about I'm going to stick the other cars up one at a time as I get chance and the paperwork together.

Made sense to sell this now before winter, not going to be using it much until April anyway and I should be driving an even madder Citigo by then, making the GT-R redundant and a bit too capable.

I can't see me having another for a while, or at all.

No doubt it is a blinding car.  Being in a road car on road tyres chasing track prepped stuff was great fun and it certainly stood out.

But I've done that now and want to do something else. :)

Yes you'll be able to blow any car away, race or not

....with a tank

whats your next plan then m8?

whats your next plan then m8?

450bhp Citigo 4x4, which is probably about 80% done for next year.

Buy less cars, save more money, do more investment type things for the future.

Sad to see it go, but well done on the sale. It is one hell of a car

Indeed, but cool plans for next year! :)

It's just left the building.  So I am officially GT-Rless.

Well done on the sale Richard. Look forward to seeing the citigo in April :)
