NM - I line in quite a hard water area which, if I don't dry the car leave quite a horrible looking car with loads of water marks. After you have PW Gyeon wet coat off do you dry the car ?

Yes I dry it off, its easy to dry as the WetCoat is quite slick. When I did my neighbours car it started to rain, that's why I chose to use WetCoat over a conventional wax. I could not dry it after as it started to chuck it down. I looked at the car the following day when they had been out for a drive, there wasn't any water spotting. However, I have never tried it in a hard water area .

I like the idea of wetcoat for my dad. Have you tried any similar ones NM, purity x or carpro hydro2? They sound so easy to use.

I only have experience of Purity-X - Neil.

Very simple to use and flexible to use in different dilutions.

ie. Foam lance dilution, direct spray sealant dilution and more.

Gyeon WetCoat brilliant product when time or the weather is against you.

I keep meaning to get some Gyeon WetCoat to test out on the OH's car but am undecided on whether I get the Bathe+ to go with it.

I've not bothered with the shampoo to be honest, but it makes sense if you need to buy shampoo anyway.

True, just might give them both a try together. They are both reasonably priced anyway.

Throw another one into the mix.....Car Chem Hydro Coat!!

Yes indeed Ben - very good stuff i've heard.... in fact - a very kind mate has prepared a sample for me to test.

Allegedly its in the post....    ;)

In the same vain as WetCoat you mean?

Gyeon comes ready to use, no dilution needed, just spray onto a wet car directly from the bottle supplied.

The Car Chem just works out a lot cheaper. 25ml into 975ml makes 1 litre of ready to use product. Im not sure on how the performance differs as ive never used the Gyeon, maybe I could send you some NM and you could test them out side by side?

Yeah works exactly the same.

Great, will take a look at it and then make a decision between the two

Similar to Autoglym Aqua wax?

That looks fantastic!

It's sounds like a good product, the 1L you make up in a spray bottle is to top up the previously applied neat application, bit like a QD. I wonder how long the spray would last on a panel which has no protection.

Not really, there is no buffing or spreading of the product needed with Gyeon. Gyeon you spray onto a wet car, pressure rinsing makes the product react, job done, you can leave the car like that or dry it as normal.

I got Gyeon shampoo to try, hoping that is ok.

Why not?

Cant you try any shampoo?
