I am suffering with you Richard! It is so annoying when projects take much longer than planned (but then again, murphys law, it will always be like this if you really look forward to something special).

Took the slime coloured Fabia for an MOT today after Taylor93 spent a day checking, testing and plugging it in.

 

Result: A pass with no issues.  It's sound as a pound.

Needless to say the emmission test was an easy pass.

Got 0.00 against a maximum 0.20 of CO and only scored 13 HC (ppm) against a maximum pass of 200.

VIC test to do, V5c to do and road tax to buy...  if that's as far as it goes.

That's quite a collection there Richard, not to mention the cars at home and at the tuners and yet to be collected..........you must be well known at DVLA, they probably have a bet with each other to try and guess how long until the next log book turns up in your name and for what car it will be for!!

To be honest Sam it's not bothered me adding an owner.

We are talking about bumped 8 to 10 year old cars, so I'm not sure there is a significant effect on resale value.

Once I've finished playing they only sell if cheap anyway, usually for around cost.

There is one more Red Fabia VRS going through tomorrow that's a non runner.

But I doubt I'll get it as I've bid low and it's an 05 plate.

 

They'll probably be here shortly...

 

On the positive side I can indulge my desire to tinker, make a few nice Fabia VRS cars using the bits and that means some Brisky bargains as I'm not doing it to earn an income.

It's just a bit of a hobby.
