So I collected my nearly new OC3 VRS TSI DSG hatch in white earlier this week and have to say as an overall package in terms of performance, build quality (so far as only on 2k miles), overall practicality and just the sort of car feel that it will last a lifetime, I haven't had a car that's come close to the Skoda, and this is my first! I know it will give me grief at times, however it is simply just a great car.

 

I've been driving for 25 years, I'm 44 and have worked out that I've averaged 1.3 cars per year of driving - not good on the finances! Let's hope the Skoda lasts!

What odd you think of the c5? I loved mine, kept her for two years. Real comfy punchy cruiser but just no fun to drive

Thats not that bad, have you seen a Y10 Dalefc? That it had electric everything (that didnt work properly) and an alcantara dash did not make up for the fact that you could kick it and rot woild drop off and that it looked like an overgrown disability scooter.....was bloody quick for a 1.0 though! Thats not that bad, have you seen a Y10 Dalefc? Courtesy car was nice tho - Golf MK6 GT-TDI 170bhp. Why they gave that to a 17y/o who had just written off a car I don't know.

My Dad has a penchant for italian cars (or did years ago anyway) and havent forgiven him for it, inherited from my brother after several years of abuse....was an utter dog!
