Hi Everyone,

 

my car is due for a service right now (just git 10000 miles since last service)

 

its a Skoda Fabia 2011 TDI 105BHP with about 47000 miles on it,

 

as we all know the Easter bank holidays are coming up!

 

by the time I get chance to service it will be mid next week,

 

so it will be about roughly 500 miles over due for its oil service...

 

will this cause me any mechanical long term/short term problems?

 

or am I just worrying to much and 500 miles over due will be fine!?!?!

I wouldn't worry about it. 

It makes no difference really as they can be set to variable servicing anyway.

The fixed servicing doesnt go off oil condition. Its more than likely fine IMO.

Its the variable servicing that pics up on how much the oil has degraded.
