Test all passed just required handbrake arms on rears calipers to be removed and cleaned up as they were sticking on a little

all been greased up and new seals fitted. Happy Days

  • 2 weeks later...

Also fitted the rear calipers springs to stop the handbrake jamming in future

Bump!!!! now on eBay already had the stupid offers!!!!!!!

Good luck, free mini bid and I'm currently winner (but if it stays at that price I'll have it, but I seriously doubt it with 7 days to go !)

Ever little helps though !

Wisebuyers has it at £3110 so that was indeed the stupid offer of the day.

Well if that idiot that though he was offering £1400 for it was winning, he won't be getting it for that much now will he.

no your not i am !

no im not now  :-(

Hello mate, is this still for sale?

It is yes for the right price got sick to death of time wasters and eBay idiots

My numbers on the advert ring if genuinely interested

I've given up selling cars on eBay, just endless idiots and dreamers.

Another problem is these lovely cars don't seem to be shifting well at the moment. 6 months ago (when I wasn't looking for one) my mate just couldn't get rid of his mint 2005 Fabia VRS for love nor money. He wanted £3000 for it, ended up taking £2400 just to get a sale!

Rather ironic as that's my budget now haha!

Lovely car mate and good luck with the sale.

To be fair if you put it on ebay, you should set a reserve or start at your lowest and let the auction run. Pulling the auction because you're getting lowball offers isn't really in the spirit of an auction...

Anyways last price drop before I return it back to completely standard

£2800.00

Like I said, lovely car just a bit above my budget unfortunately.

that is a real good price now with mods too..

some people want £2000 for higher milage smashed up ones..

this should get snapped up now..

Car is now SOLD

Yeah my mate say thanks for the car he loves it especially as it only cost him £20 to get home!!

Which fleabay isn't anyway......not a true auction anyway. If it was I imagine far more fairer prices would apply, I think the longstanding time delay issue of ebay and the amount of dreamers makes it far from being a proper auction.

No problems for me having someone pull the rug, I've even had it happen to me but no sweat, its a crap and getting crapper place anyway

Good news about the sale !
