The diff is what really is worth something in your current box.  I would imagine a stock 5 speed you might get £100 if you're lucky.  The diff trebles that price to the right person.

I've seen them up for £1k on various different fb selling pages and its all in good working order.

Why do those massive long chassis rails,. plus the one down the middle suggest some form of off roader like a landrover or something, where the chassis comes away from the body, or similar?

 

Also, are those driven hubs as logic tells me the suspension strut would block the driveshaft?

Im thinking something small jap and 4wd, Pulsar maybe? Although I think they were four stud wheels??

the run a round for now whilst i rebuild my cylinder head. Valve stem seals are shot, so will be rebuilding the head with Supertech parts and maybe forging the bottom end also. Little bit niffed as this puts back the next stage of the fabia

Gearbox is sold pending collection, TFSI K04 is on the cards along with integrated engineering forged rods to go in the new engine. Many bits will be up for sale soon such as mounts as the engine is currently mounted the wrong way for what the next part of the project entails
