  • Wife goes to get something from the garage, and comes back...   Mrs: "There seems to be a black Roomster on the drive" Mr: "Yes, I got it today" Mrs: "It's a new one isn't it?" Mr: "Yes" Mrs: "T

  • So anyway, I used the Roomster on Saturday to pick the Wife and two children up from Heathrow. They have not seen the car before...   On the way back to the car park my 5 year old son asks what car

Thanks to Lee that's definitely gone on the "to do" list.

Next time it goes in for a service ;)

LOL that is brilliant!! Funny and yes definitely a "You've been Framed" moment. :)

Is it me or is the boot VERY open? Tried to enlarge the pic but no joy. It looks nigh on upright?

As this is on air does it dance like one of those Yank job Chevvy Pimp Wagons?  :peek:   :x   :giggle:

They run on hydraulics, not air, and even then you need specialised high pressure high volume pumps and fast action rams.

mentalist :D

Looks 'sick blud'

Out of curiosity, why is the fuel flap not wrapped?

Out of curiosity, why is the fuel flap not wrapped?

The whole side was done in one piece so the door shuts lined up and the pattern continued.

The fuel flap has a finger pull bit that sticks up, so if they did that it would have screwed up the rear quarter panel with a fold in it.

I can have a black splat surround for the fuel cap, leave it as it is or try and do it in the same material that won't line up properly.

The roof bars suit it

I think that would have been quite funny, it lives in the garage and she'd have never known until she went to use it... :D

I guess she would have reacted the same way as when another car appears on the drive..... “sigh... FFS Richard!”

How I feel when I see this

On 18" rims, it's like decent coilovers on 17" rims.

This is smart! Who did the air install?

JDR, who built my 500bhp Yeti.

The kit was supplied by Only Charged Dubs.

It's a twin compressor set up (helps if one fails) with E-level ride height sensors and a pancake take in the spare wheel well so no loss of boot space.

Also went for the performance version while I was at it, so it corners really well.

Am I the only one who read this? so getting ready for some serious performance mods Richard?

Stupid question really

Stupid question really

It seemed to be a very long time in JDR's workshop for them 'just' to fit an air ride kit. Just saying.

But how many toys does one man really need :D
