I did text him but got no reply sorry.  I'll try again but it may be my number for him has changed.

I collected from his work address and I'm really surprised to be honest as he was a good lad and there was no suggestion of a rip off, so I am pretty sure there is another explanation.  However, I note he hasn't logged on a while and hasn't responded to either of my recent texts so I agree its a bit difficult to think otherwise.

 

Let's hope he responds and logs on soon.

I wouldn't go quite that far, but it is 4 months now since we ordered so I'd hope for some comms.  I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt as I know when these things go awry the stress is quite high so the poor chap is probably scared to log on until he has received all the missing bits from SS.  Can't blame him for SS's failure.

It is the lack of response to PMs, emails and texts. If there are issues then keep us informed, not just disappear off of the face of the planet.

 

There could be a perfectly reasonable explanation, but these bonnet struts have now taken longer than my factory order car!

Yep - last we heard is that they were all there on 10th Nov and would be posted that weekend.

Well, I've found him on facebook and sent a message.  We shall see what comes of it.  Not that me, or the forum, can really get involved as such.  I just like to see things resolved.

I had one strut arrive, but not the second. I think as it all went a bit wrong at SuperSkoda, and I bet when he said he's had the remaining parts arrive, that they weren't all there as he expected, he may have gone silent hoping that he can get it sorted offline if you get what I mean?

The above list represents over £200 of undelivered goods. I'm giving it until the end of the week then reporting it as fraud, for what good that will do. It ****es me off when people rip other people off. I'll even go small claims if we can ever track him down.

Already been in touch with Adam and the net is closing in.

Call me a soft touch but I'm prepared to think the guy has a geniuine reason (otherwise he'd just have ripped everybody off). Maybe he's been overwhelmed with something far more important. Yes, some communication would be nice, but for all I know he may be banged up in hospital.

Of course, I will be intrigued to find out what has happended though.
