Auto Perfection - information

Featured Replies

If I'm honest it's never a car that's really interested me. Especially for the price of them you can get a decent second hand range rover..

But yeah as you can see Auto Perfection setting a good standard with the products here.

Really would love to polish it with the DA. if by hand results have come up like that, there's still quite alot of gloss etc to be pulled from the paintwork!

  • Well as promised a review into the wax, goes on very easy but uses quite a bit, and the tub showed cracks like dying  out even though 4 degrees air temp, panel temp was 3.2 . Really easy to buff off,

  • On their Facebook page bud. Just send him a pm on there. Same cost as a few bottles of ale, and I've been dry for January so i deserve a treat!

...totally agree - the prices are pretty shocking - even a decent used example is too much!

But overall - I like the shape, looks, and some of the colour options offered.

Certainly wouldn't mind detailing one for a closer look - so let me know next time! ;)

Next time I do it, pop over! Lovely car to work with. Alot bigger than they look haha!

Thanks Karl. It finished off the car really well. I'll let you know what the water behaviour is like if we get a rain shower!!

Thanks for the comment Karl.

It's a lovely car - hard to believe its up for sale really!

Not quite what I'm after at the moment - but very well looked after.

It looks like a right machine. The body kit, wheels and quad tail pipes set it off from the rest too!

Still, I'd have an RS3 any day haha.

haha - the RS3 has slightly more power but less torque.

The 335d with remap is unreal.... you can spin up the rears in almost any gear - so much torque...even with 20" x 10 rears fitted with 285 rubber!

BTW - back on topic - do you have mint Intensify? i heard today its being discontinued.

It will be replaced by blueberry alongside the existing cherry option.

Jesus Christ! Expensive rear tyres too!

I have mate yeah. Ahh... haven't seen or heard that so thanks for sharing! I liked the Mint one!!

Thanks Karl - I'm holding out for the Hybrid wax..... hoping that he comes up with the goods soon...  ;)

I'll be purchasing it myself hopefully. I'm going to get another sample pack of him also.

They've lasted such a long time as a little goes along way with his products. I also want it to keep in the car for emergencies lol!

Good plan Karl - I had a partial sample pack via WaxPack; but it might be an idea to go direct to Arron as you say.

Intensify and Clarity are no brainers - the interior cleaner is good; and I know you have tried the sealant etc too.

Have you started your winter detail as yet - now you are set up in the new garage space at home?

The Pro-Seal is a fantastic product although unsure on durability. Only thing I've tried and didn't like was the wheel cleaner but one thing out of a whole range is good going!

I got to grips with the car on Sunday, had a heavy one Saturday so started quite late and dark by the time I'd finished. I've applied the Hybrid sealant from the latest waxpack and a coat of fusso so far.

need to give the car a foam and rinse and apply a second coat of fusso and finish off a few bits. Can do it in stages and build up to it now with having the garage etc.

Looks well though, I'll be finishing it tomorrow evening I think so ill start a thread and get some photos aswell as reviews up! ;)

You are not the first person to comment on the wheel cleaner.

The sample bottle is supplied neat - should be diluted; may help you with it a little.

Fusso is also on my list of options - such a great product for the price.

The best bit is the next snow foam routine on top of Fusso - you will most likely have snow foam beads!!! :giggle:   ;)

I diluted the one I had into a 500ml bottle. It cleans well-ish but I don't think it's any good for the sealants on wheels etc. Not a bad product but isn't my first choice!
