I'm going to see if its possible to transfer taster session bookings... due to messing up my engine my car will still be running in (or broken for bits if it goes badly wrong again) come June :(

Hmm, nervous...

Most people who ride in the Brisk Rover start swearing before the first corner :D

Taster sessions are full.

They cannot run 2 at lunch as the marshalls need a break.

I didn't know Brimma's family were hosting the track session ;)

I'm happy to take passengers out.  I already "know" the track from my last full day there. :)   Great track once you learn it  :)

Gutted the taster sessions are full. I'd be up for doing the full day but I'm never gonna get there early enough for the briefing etc :-(

Might have to blag some passenger laps instead lol.

What's the procedure for signing up as a passenger? Does it have to be booked in advance or can you pay on the day and hire a helmet at the same time (the answers to this aren't entirely obvious on the Rockingham website)?

Tom, I am just working out if the Superb can be ready to bring down for a full day session. You're welcome to grab a passenger ride in with me.

Cheers mate, blast round the track in luxury.... I like it! :-)

passenger rides in Phantom are always available :)

Taster session available - I have been in contact with Rockingham and they will allow a transfer of driver so my session is up for grabs at £25.

First to PM gets 'dibs', payment needs to be forthcoming to secure or I will move down the list, and then I will transfer the place via Will @ Rockingham.

Gone to Tom.

Yeti RS will be doing passenger rides most of the day.

But it'll be first come first served on the day... for logistical reasons. :D

(this means jump in when it looks like it's going out!)

I'll bring my own seat and bolt it in :)

Given solid tow bars are legal on the roads...

Why not a bossFox yeti train?

This attraction is not suitable if you are of a nervous disposition, are pregnant, have high blood pressure, are of ample proportion and so on.......

Rules for riding in the Brisk Rover:

1. Remain seated.

2. Don't push any buttons.

3. Only scream at the driver after the incident, as during it is unhelpful.

And only use the fire extinguisher when the flames go above the bonnet?

It'd be like when I take my friend out in my car, If you're not dead at the end of it you have no right to complain.

Despite the rediculous amount of wheels and tyres I have lying around, they're pretty much all knackered so I had a look on the bay for some boots to use at Rockingham.

Just picked up these in my size for £118. Loads of tread left so we'll see how they do.

I've made initial enquiries if Rockingham has a waiting list for the trackday.  It looks pretty likely my car will be in no state to be thrashed around a track, which is a shame.

You have 3 weeks, I feel this is more than enough time. Failing that, bring your mate's Mini.

If its new head time, that could be 3 months or so off the road whilst a replacement gets fully ported and sorted.  :(
