So Fezza re-installed the Sony Sub-Woofer to try out the sound systems upgrades, installed at 1st service has enhanced this as well .

So will it be boot space or enhanced sound system in conclusion?

So Shmee has gone the Mountune route after 7000 miles ,So will Fezza do the same and other owner members on this site.

So no track day experience by Shmee yet, hence no feedback of oil consumption issues showing themselves?

Wonder if he has had the recall addressed yet or is his car a later version and they don't apply.

Fezza's updates give more pops and crackles and release that inner child /youth in you .If you want it of course?

As an "old fart" in the hot hatch world,then it just sounds like a bag of nails and would drive me crazy. Just a personal thing but I'm sure that there are many who love it.

Someone in the EU, maybe the Commission will have one of those in at some point to check out the Real World Emissions 

and re-test them to compare with the EU Testing for Co2 & MPG and Type Approvals.

Thanks Keith, all a bit far away from darkest Essex but there are a few around here too.

 

SWMBO thinks that a 1 series looks like a 4-door delivery-van & I can see her point..... 

But, for a few £K more there are some 3 series cars around with similar mileage, albeit with the 3.0 6 cylinder diesels & 4WD.

 

Back to the window shopping.......

 

To bring this back on topic I did suggest that we try a Focus RS, but I got told off qute seriously...

 

She's not too keen on an Audi S3 either, thinks a Leon Cupra is fun to drive but a bit stark inside, but would accept a low-mileage vRS 230 as a cheaper alternative.

Maybe with a gentle re-map & a set of "nicer" wheels, it might make sense, but with the face-lift only a few months away it could be a financial disaster?
