Any chance everyone can add order date and estimated / confirmed build week to give some context to this thread.

My superb was ordered on 26th sept.

Current unconfirmed build week is 52.

1.4 ACT SE with a few extras. Can't wait until it arrives . Looking like end jan until I get my hands on the keys.

Ordered mine on the 6th Oct.

But it's still a great colour and the car goes like brown stuff off a shovel.

I see that a number of the petrol blue cars have been delivered as quartz grey. Did you guys get a choice and was a deal done for you to accept the car since it was delivered in thewrong colour

Ordered 18th Sept. Unconfirmed build date is now week 52. Was originally 46 then went to 51 and currently 52.

Funny thing is...

I originally ordered in Moon White with Black Alcantara.

Then decided I really couldn't live with a dark interior...but also didn't like the thought of a white car with a beige interior!

So, a few weeks ago I asked that it be changed to Petrol Blue with Beige interior. Which the dealer said was accepted at the factory.

Then last week I had another change of heart and asked that it be changed to Business Grey with Beige interior.

I was told last Friday that the factory had rejected that and my car is now `Locked in` as Petrol Blue with Beige interior.

The dealer also said that the factory was taking no more orders at present for beige leather.

Took a phone call on Friday from Leaseplan to say the dealer was going to contact me regarding delivery. They did and Norton Way Skoda (Bedford) are delivering tomorrow (Monday) between 10 and midday via a transporter...    :clap:  :clap:  :clap:  :clap:

I got an email from Skoda saying my car was being built and then will be sprayed metallic grey. I rang the dealer to check if it was a glitch. After they had checked and confirmed it was the wrong colour I was given the option of rejecting it and getting my deposit back, reordering the correct one or accepting it with free paint work protection. I asked them to reorder it. Couple of days later was called to say the car was on its way to the dealer and Skoda has asked if there was any way I would accept it. Eventually settled on a good financial incentive and FOC paintwork protection. Everyone was happy. They're both good colours.

What colour did you originally order?

Ordered on the 19th November for delivery in March, no production details as of yet, just confirmed the configuration with the dealer

Seems to be par for the course

I read a little snippet in autocar that said they had 30,000 cars pre orders and it had out sold their expected numbers by 150%. Think we can all agree they didn't have a very good crystal ball.

i hope mine gets delivered as quartz grey, really regret ordering the petrol blue !!! (ill then of course argue some deal saying i didnt want it!)

im hoping it might be later this week, car arrived at UK port last week, now paid the the initial lease and signed all the paperwork so just waiting to be transported up here (Edinburgh, the underlying dealer was Johnsons in Tamworth, Staffs)

Mine arrived at midday today . Very nice , but as I'm at work I've only had time for a quick drive around the block. My Mercedes C220 owning neighbour knocked and was very impressed. 

If mine turns up in any other colour than the Petrol Blue I ordered I won't be very impressed, apart from the reds (and plain blue) it was the only 'colour' offered, the rest were just shades of grey!

Please let me know what colour it turns out to be. I've also ordered Petrol Blue so am very interested.

2 Weeks factory shutdown over Christmas

I think I have been one of the lucky ones. Ordered L&K 190 DSG Estate via New-Car-Discount and it turned up today, less than 10 weeks from order mid-Sept. So far very pleased I chose the Beige interior with Quartz exterior.
