  • The Gtechniq QD is a fantastic product and I've used it since shortly before it was released to the public. It's great for a quick detail or as a drying aid. Basically a sealant with a cleaning actio

Excellent. I'm still in work til the 19th but it will be quiet so I'll look forward to your reports to get me through the day mate.

Right Ste, you have an excessive number of products, you will never get through them all.

I officially volunteer as Guinea Pig, what is your Pre-Crimble diary looking like?

Far too many products and certainly too little time these days.

Guinea pig for new products or not - lets get a date for polishing up the Sparkly family taxi!

As always - would be a pleasure to help out.... so drop me a PM with some dates if you wish.

....not much to do here.... just some Xmas shopping and detail the house for the inlaws arriving! :giggle:   ;)

It's a nice product mate. You'll enjoy using it. Instant gloss and decent water behaviour. 8 months is unsurprisingly unrealistic, but durability is still decent.

DAY 15: Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray

Website Blurb....

Don't let ugly, soiled wheel wells ruin your beautiful detail job. After you have finishing cleaning, claying, polishing and waxing your car does it still lack a crisp, finished look? Chances are, it's not your paintwork or trim, it's those ugly wheel wells. You need to make them disappear. Here's the secret. While you're washing your wheels, spray Adams All Purpose Cleaner in your fender wells and give them a good scrubbing with a fender brush. Let the cleaner dwell while you clean the tire and wheel, then give everything a thorough rinsing. If your wheel wells are really nasty looking, scrub them twice. After washing, allow to air dry, blow dry or towel dry.

Once dry, spray a light coating of Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray to all areas of the fender well, then work the product in with an old towel. When you're finished, your black fender well liners will have a perfect satin black finish. They literally become invisible and no longer stand out where they can rob your car of its detailed beauty. Now you're ready to detail the rest of your car.

TIP: Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray isn't just for fender wells. It's also a great dressing for your engine compartment. After washing and drying your engine thoroughly, simply mist Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray over the entire area and wipe in well with an old towel. Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray makes plastic and rubber look new again, shines painted surfaces, and keeps aluminum and anodized parts from corroding. Do not spray Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray on a hot engine.

Absolutely - can't thank Shaun enough for directing me to Adam's products.

Not the cheapest; so I tend to only buy when GB's are running - but never been disappointed with how they perform!

Oh yes - the Adam's Shampoo is superb and the QD is nice too

Enjoying seeing the daily updates, you really are lucky! I've been using the Adams H2O guard and gloss on the last couple of washes, lovely shine and some great beading too together with simple application. Liking their products at the moment.

Hey Andy - glad you and some of the guys are enjoying the daily updates.

As you all know i enjoy my detailing and testing new products; but i'm very

impressed how much SWMBO has followed my detailing interest in 2015.

The ideas and list of products in the calendar are a great example of how she respects my hobby and interests.

The fact that she has gone out and connected with Andy at CleanYourRide and Shaun at ShaunyShine are impressive too.

Hopefully the list is useful to you and the regulars and provides some ideas and/or inspiration for your detailing too.

Cheers,

Ste.

DAY 17:  TDG Mango Sudz PH Neutral Shampoo (plus FREE decal for the trolley)

Website Blurb...

Mango Sudz is a sweet mango and passionfruit scented shampoo that cuts though dirt with ease.
Despite its high cleaning power, it will not strip existing layers of wax.
Special lubricants help glide effortlessly over exterior surfaces, while the long lasting sudz help to lift dirt away.
This shampoo also works out pretty economical, boasting upto 50 washes per bottle.

HOW TO USE:
TDG recommend firstly using a prewash snowfoam to soften the dirt and remove most the bulk with jetwash, for best results add 10-15ml to a bucket of warm water, quick blast from jet to aid the sudz, apply the product to your cars surface using a merino wool wash mitt starting from the top working your way down, rinsing the mitt regularly to reduce scratching, then finally rinse off with open ended hose ready for the drying stage.
