  • The Gtechniq QD is a fantastic product and I've used it since shortly before it was released to the public. It's great for a quick detail or as a drying aid. Basically a sealant with a cleaning actio

The cleaning power of this stuff is great! However.. the bottle I had from the sample pack didn't seem enough for a Lance.. that does! You might get a better foam & dwell time than I had!

Be nice to see another review on this buddy :)

Thanks for the comment - yes, I said to SWMBO that I thought you had tested it.

Decent cleaning power but perhaps a slightly lean mixture from your sample.

OK - i'll look to test it soon.... and feedback accordingly.

SWMBO's car has been to Leeds and Wakefield already this week..... so a decent test bed for the weekend! :thumbup:

Great stuff. I think the mix as you say was probably a bit lean so certainly interested in your thoughts! :)

Just hoping plans work out for a change in the car line up next year;

then I can put plenty of these products to the test for sure.... :thumbup:

Any ideas what you'll be wanting to change to then or not set in stone yet? :)

Nothing set in stone as yet Karl..... had a few test drives this year;

the list is varied and interesting - but will come down to budget probably.

The RS6 is nice.... good speed and supports the family options. Test drive was good, and long term easy to live with.

RS7 was similar but I don't think I could live with the shape more than anything.

RS3 is just too small and a ridiculous price, similar story with the Merc A45 AMG, even C63 AMG!

My mate is bringing his Lotus Evora 2+2 over at Xmas for a detail...... so looking to see how that sizes up as well.

Porsche 911 was great and the kids loved the back seats.... so maybe for a short term change, until they grow a bit more.

SWMBO wants to take the .:R36 anyway - which is cool, so just need to trade in the Seat Exeo early 2016.

For now the search and the all important research continues..... all good fun! :happy:  ;)  :thumbup:

Plenty of options then! Glad the R36 is staying. Car is a credit to you so would be a massive shame to see it go!

You had a look at the new M3? real soft spot for the M series cars for some reason. The M5 has always been a favorite of mine.

Thing is, there's to many bloody cars to choose from these days haha!
