This is not the spirit.  It's the taking part / experience which matters.  If you are not comfortable with other cars around all you need to do is go to the side, wait for a fairly clear rearview mirror, then just have some fun like a spirited B road blast - nothing serious.

Agreed, don't read what I wrote badly, I'd like to do a track day at some point. I'm trying to be good with money just at the moment, and it wouldn't just be the £53 cost

I'm purely in jest, I think it's safe to safe for the regulars that I'm not called Captain Slow for nothing!! Like Jason said just drop back give yourself some space and enjoy it. Track view is very good at combe so you can see them coming and pick your point to let them past.

 

First time is always a bit stressful but you'll be fine, everyone has good manners and very used to slow people like me

Just contacted Jason for a club stand ticket, not sure how an electric Golf will fair on track.

 

 I will have the camera again, all pictures will be free to down load off Flickr as usual.

 

 Look forward to seeing old and new faces at this great day out.

Track includes being on stand, normally those who aren't doing track park clear of others for easy access

As above - everyone is on the clubstand but the ones who have paid for the track sessions get a little blast around the circuit, unlike the others who can watch / video / take photos

Combe suggest 15 minutes between slots, but that includes getting out there and a cool down lap, so figure 12.

Not enough to overwork a standard car unless you are particularly gifted.  Or daft.
