Yes they look identical to mine (out of stock again now though)

Ah yes, sorry hadn't noticed that. Hoping my order will be fulfilled now as payment is still being verified apparently.

Thanks Gizmo68, yeh want to do LED's all round. still would love a list of all the upgrades possible with LED's i intend to do the lot lol.

boot, glove box, reverse, indicator (not sure if this one is worth it), fog light.

 what others can i do??

i have the led plus package ordered with it, so guess interior light and under seat lights are LED's??

Yes the only ones you need to do are the boot, glovebox, front fogs, rear indicators reversing lights, all the bulbs needed are listed on page 1

Hi MartiniB.

I ordered the same bulbs on 8th of this month and they arrived yesterday.

Fitted them today and by the cringe, what a difference they make.

Thanks for the tip. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

A lot of the Ali links aren't valid any more and I'm struggling to find any LED bulbs that I'm confident in - particularly for the foglights. I'm keen for them to match the white of the Xenons. Can you recommend the ones you got from Autobulbs and provide links please?

Thanks!

Apologies for the slow response, I was on holiday last week.

I bought these from Autobulbs Direct though I haven't fitted them as I haven't taken delivery of my Sportline yet:

https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H8-Twenty20-Cree-LED-12V-Canbus-Foglight-Bulb.html

I've bought several LED's from Autobulbs in the past, their 'own brand' included (as above) and haven't had any issues.  Hope this helps.

No problem, thanks for the link. My only concern would be the colour temp (Cool White - 6000K) which might be a bit stark for my liking - I was hoping for nearer 5000K.

I'll wait until you've played guinea-pig and fitted them...!

I pick mine up on 3rd March and have planned to spend the next day doing a full detail and fitting the various bulbs I've bought.  I'll let you know and post some pics as soon as I can.

To give you an idea how bright these are this is them fitted to the Yeti (on the S3 you lose some of the brightness due to the silver caps that cover the bulbs)

Myself and a few other members have used these in various cars (Citygo, Fabia MKI, Superb MKI, Yeti etc and nobody has a bad word to say about them!)

Yes you do remove the rear lamp assembly (the section on the car body not the tailgate) but it is an easy to do 10 minute job to replace the 2 lamps. A bit fiddly but nothing beyond anyone with a smidgeon of practicality. There is a section in the manual that shows you how to remove the assembly and replace the lamps. Pop out the OEM ones and pop in the LED replacements. Simples!

Cant help with the door lights as I haven't done that mod.

top leds give higher values, but in Superb case they go to the back side of reflector

I'm contemplating getting some of these LEDs for the reversing lights, but is it possible they are too bright? I just wonder if they are almost a bit dazzling if you are for example reverse parking on a dark but busy street?

@Mon55

don't worry, LED Reverse will be brighter than stock, but stock Stops light still dominates

Well the CREE LED 382 P21W indicator bulbs from AutoBulbs Direct were a waste of time.  The pins weren't offset so I either got a dodgy pair or they just sent a different fitment.   They're going back and I've ordered alternatives from eBay as the reverse bulbs I got from the same seller are fine.

The CREE H8 Fogs I got from ABD are however very good.  Nice and bright and same colour as DRL's and it took no more than 5 mins to replace both bulbs.  Really pleased that Skoda have used common sense.  In order to change the fogs on my old car the wheels and wheel arch liners would have had to come off.

I also replaced the bulbs in the boot and glove box.  Will post some pics once I've uploaded to photobucket.

Thanks for the guide. I was able to remove the panel. Socket is located on the top left side of the rear door, under the window, close to the door lock.There are only 2 empty pins in the socket. I connected the wires there. The wires from this set fits perfectly:

Unfortunately the light still don't work.

I'm pretty sure that they must be activated via VCDS.

Doe's anybody knows how to do this?

have you found where to activate rear lights?
