In germany now. Free speed. Been doing 235 km/t and cruising along at 200kmt.

Picking my 230 up in the morning, can't wait to try the dcc!

It wasn't when i ordered it, but noticed on the skoda builder a few weeks later that it was an option, so asked if i could have it on and they said yes.

Just a couple of observations after about 3 months of ownership of my 230 Vrs hatch....1) i own the moonwhite Hatch and i can honestly say the amount of admiring looks and comments i have received have actually surprised me....so much for the Hatch not a good looker..quite the opposite as it looks the biz.with the contrasting blackpack with it.  2) might be fewer of them over here too as Republic of Ireland much smaller car market than the UK...3)as far as the heated front windscreen goes ..only that the button is in the car and i was TOLD it had a heated front windscreen i would not have noticed it as i cannot see those so called wires??maybe i need to get glasses for driving not just for reading haha..4)all the talk ive noticed on this forum about higher horsepower wanted etc...well maybe if u want to lose your license but the power in the 230 is more than adequate i barely get it out of 4th with all the speed limits..only really on country drives and motorways early in the mornings can you really open up (unless you want to go using it on a track well then maybe you would like some  more Hp..but on congested public roads naw)..of course still abiding by the rules of the road.  5)my only real personal gripe and i knew it when buying this showroom model was and is its a liitle loud vis a vis roadnoise..a combination of the 19's and lack of insulation....and boy are the wheel rims easy to get themselves kerbed so be warned....apart from that all myself.the neighbours and  my friends think and remark that shes a cracker and i concour..its by far a great drive...early days i know but overall very happy...oh and petrol is by far super no more dpf regens....dpf regens probably not so much of an issue if u are a big mileage driver one happy owner here...Spec.. moonwhite,blackpack,heated windscreen,canton stereo and all the bits that come as standard....ps..even though its a golf gti performance pack in a skoda body ..golf gtis over here are a common sight.....so all the more reason to be different:)

Got told its being built in the week starting 17th October with mid-November delivery. Although reading though this I should probably get more details on build week and status. I am still umming and ahhing over some options (internet, premium phone box and adaptive cruise) but I dunno how late I can add them in.

DriveTheDeal have that spec available for £24269 with £500 of free fuel and 0% over 42 months.

 

For a cancelled order where the dealer has already pocketed the deposit, I wouldn't expect to pay more than £23500.

Hi new to the skoda family but ordered myself the VRS230 metallic black. With canton speaker's winter pack and rear view camera. Ordered it late may was told 10th June a delivery date will be given but still no news. This is the first time I've ordered a factory spec car.any guys got tips on how to get more info out of anyone always get told there's nothing we can tell you by the dealer.

As far as I know or understand my car is Week Build 31 but at status 10, this means the B W can be brought forward or put back therefor extras can be added. Once the car goes to Status 20 the factory is committed to which ever build week has been given at that point, after status 20 nothing can be added to the build. I or the dealer doesn't know what the time scale is between Status 10 and status 20. It's up to the factory to decide, I would think it's on the number or orders at that time.

Ask your dealer if your car is at Status 10 or Status 20.  Don't take " We don't know " for an answer, they can find it, it's on your order page on there computer 

Thanks for the help will hustle some more tomorrow. Happy to wait but just want any information going to get on their case. As was told 3 months waiting list and still no info after 2 and a half months nearly
