We have not been asked and my firm is one of the largest International Logistics companies in the UK but the very biggest in France, top 5 in Europe.

Expect they are asking this of software houses ie ASM, Descartes, Grosvenor, Langdons and LSI as well as maybe the parcel carriers.  Industry meeting next week where the Director of the new HMRC system, CDS, which is supposed to handle the extra quarter of a billion customs declarations per year so hopefully hear more as the time is very short to get the software in, scale up the systems and train, and recruit, thousands of new users.

U.K. Wants Brexit Transition Locked in at Key Summit This Week

By   Tim Ross   and   Ian Wishart  March 19, 2018, 12:01 AM GMT

Theresa May’s Brexit negotiators want to secure a written promise of a transition deal from the European Union at a key summit this week, to help reassure businesses that they will get the grace period they desperately want.  Michel Barnier, the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, and David Davis, his British counterpart, are preparing to hold talks and a press conference in Brussels on Monday, according to people familiar with the matter. It’s a sign the two sides are on track to reach an agreement on a status-quo transition phase that will last until the end of 2020.

Businesses are likely to welcome the prospect of a deal in which the U.K. would continue to operate as if it were an EU member for 21 months after leaving -- accepting migrants and staying in the single market and customs union, but not having a right to vote on the rules.

European leaders are due to meet for a summit in Brussels starting on Thursday, when they’re seeking to approve the transition accord and then agree on the bloc’s negotiating position for the next phase of Brexit talks -- which focuses on the future trading relationship with the U.K.

Explicit Statement

British negotiators are pushing for the EU to include an explicit statement in its negotiating guidelines at the summit. They want the document to state that an agreement in principle has been reached on the terms of transition, according to a person familiar with the matter.  Businesses are pressing May’s team to give them as much reassurance as possible that they will be able to operate across Europe after Brexit without needing to change their processes to cope with new barriers such as tariffs or border checks -- at least for 21 months.  Unless such a clear statement is forthcoming from the EU, financial services and other businesses are expected to accelerate their contingency plans in case there’s no deal when the U.K. leaves the bloc in a year’s time.

UK concedes everything in EU-UK BREXIT talk.  Until 2021

  1. UK will except EU immigrants and they will have full EU rights
  2. UK will pay all its normal dues due up to December 31st 2020
  3. UK will then pay any outstanding payments for EU workers pensions up to 2064
  4. All EU rules will apply to the UK until 31st December 2020
  5. UK will be able to talk to potential new trade partners in the transitional period but it they will not apply to after the transitional period

Wow.

Jacob RM is not going to be happy as will many of his other Brexiters I reckon !

No deal for EU citizens coming to UK during Brexit transition – PM

Theresa May pours cold water on EU27’s free movement ‘status quo’ until 2020 plan

Jessica Elgot, Anushka Asthana and Daniel Boffey

Wed 31 Jan 2018 22.30 GMTLast modified on Wed 14 Feb 2018 15.27 GMT

Theresa May has sparked a new clash with Brussels by saying that EU citizens who arrive during the post-Brexit transition period must not have the same rights as those who came before.  The prime minister’s remarks set her on course for a major skirmish with officials in Brussels, who have offered a “status quo” transition period until December 2020, including free movement and citizens’ rights for those who settle in the UK during that period.  Rules for new EU migrants could include mandatory work permits, requirements to register on arrival and restrictions on access to benefits, which would not apply to EU citizens who moved to the UK before Brexit.  Speaking to reporters on a three-day trip to China, May said the details were “a matter for negotiation for the implementation period, but I’m clear there is a difference between those who came prior to us leaving and those who will come when they know the UK is leaving.”

UK home grown destabilisers also used by Trump -

Cambridge Analytica and Mercer

Tip of the iceburg.

Facebook can't get its story straight on this one. One second they say Cambridge analytica had nothing to do with them, then CA didn't hack them, then CA has lost access to FB, then CA has been sacked by FB.

ITS WHAT FB IS ALL ABOUT!! The highest bidder gets the most influence.

PsyOps and InfoOps is a military tool that has been used by FB to influence, disrupt and control unsuspecting millions.

Fpr most success, you need to know what people believe, think, get influenced by and LIKE etc

FB has all the info required to do this. YES, even PRIVATE messages were passed to CA - interview with CA whistle-blower here

I am sure 90% of people don't believe this, but that number will eventually tip to far far more people believing it eventually.

When that happens, peopel will start to get very angry - rightly so.

Of course FB would love to see as many countries OUT of the EU due to it being the only organisation that seems to have a handle on the problem; New privacy rules are coming in to protect EU citizens from just this type of data misuse. They will mean " ... organizations in breach of GDPR can be fined up to 4% of annual global turnover or €20 Million (whichever is greater). "

When you fine % of GLOBAL TURNOVER, companies sit up and listen!!

Channel 4 news has certainly brought Cambridge Analytica to the attention of more people, or will as the story grows and those not that interested get to hear their name along with Face Book.

BBC Newsnight last week never got enough coverage on the item they did on Russian Money and Influence and George Osborne, Peter Mandelson,

Amber Rudd MP's brother Roland Dacre Rudd & other with so much influence in UK politics working for their clients and paymasters possibly against the good of the UK.

The Nasdaq closing price tells a story about Facebook.........never let principles get in the way of a CEO’s bottom line.

Dow. Nasdaq. S&P. FTSE 100 all down 2% today and 10% since Jan peak as market have stopped believing that Western economies can withstand several interest rate rises.

I have stopped my pension saving to bonds and equity as it wound be just throwing good money after bad. Cash is king until May and Trump smell the coffee.

US President was always a sad relection of the average intelligence of US voters being more like The Simpsons than is comfortable.  The EU 27 is doing quite well as is China and India and after the Brexit meeting today that looks likely to continue.  Oz should be OK if China is as it needs those raw materials.

A system that is based on ramping up the anger to ‘get out the vote’ is destructive madness, not to mention embarrassing and demeaning.

Donald juniors wife looking for a divorce is simply clever, she might as well get half the assets before they take them off him and he goes to jail.

The investigations into the Donald & Donald Junior and Erics dealings with the Russian money in the Trump International businesses is coming to a head.

I had to have a wee look at Stormy Daniels movies to see just what they were about, not much to do with Dirt Bike riding,

but a bit of on the garage bench action is involved.

Love their defence, smartest people in the world they think,  so

'we were trying to see just what kind of a potential client we were dealing with so we lead him on'.   paraphrasing.

Ye right, pull the other one it has bells on, but it was funny talking about stings while you are being stung....

Alexander Nix, now there is a name to watch out for in the future.

Maybe in some court someplace around the world.

I've seen images of boxes of files on Twitter being moved to the lobby of CA on New Oxford St. No doubt trying to remove the evidence before the warrant is issued.

Free democracy in the UK has died. The UK was played by Leave.EU, CA et al. Millions of FB shares and RT's have CONNED the British voters.

TBH what idiot law enforcer announces they are going to raid somewhere to give the suspects time to run and destroy evidence?

Either incompetence or some government folk worried at what else might be stumbled upon?

So much news on the Fishing Fleets & the EU and Brexit.

Nobody mentions just how much wealth there is among the owners of the Fleet of bigger boats in the North East of Scotland,

how many crew are not from the EU or even European and the pay and conditions they are on.

Not much on the EU but non British workers in the Fish Processing and how Scottish / British workers are not lining up to do these jobs.

so the North East Fishing fleet owners and workers are on the moan again, while they are not doing too badly now,

and are not going to be next year either.

Visit Fraserburgh or Peterhead and see the great poverty divide, and see the wealth of quite a few.

see those that sold the boats, and took the rather nice payments for not going fishing.
