I have DTUK box on my car all the time, except when I have to remove it for service visit which happens occasionally.

 

I think I noticed something. 

 

About a month ago, I removed the box and on the next ride car immediately wanted to regen (I was watching revs before exiting the car on each ride).

 

These are all winter times now, so revs are never increased like in summer time when climate control works overtime.

 

Yesterday the same thing happened again, I had to remove the box, and on the next several rides though town, revs were increased again.  

 

In these winter times, my revs are never increased, at least I dont notice then, being longer or shorter journeys.

 

Anybody can notice the same pattern?

Nope never noticed a difference beteeen not having the box and having it.

Only thing I have noticed is that my Octavia regens more than any other car I've had!
