Morning folks.

SO I am (finally) back in a Kodiaq :)

I originally had a 2019 Scout 2.0 TDI 150 which was fully loaded with all available options. It was awesome. Had it for 3 years and loved every minute of it. However, life as it does, got in the way and the car was moved on.

I ended up in an X3 for about 6 months. Engine was amazing (3ltr V6) but I just didn't gel with the car. Moved on to an E-Class estate which was lovely except build quality was poor. Moved that on and ended up in a little Fiesta ST for a while.  All the while I was missing my Kodiaq!

Well on Saturday I became the owner of a Black 2021 L&K 2.0 tdi (200) and am now waiting for delivery. I'm looking forward to getting her home and then doing a full paint decom, clay, polish, and then ceramic coat :)

I am back in a Skoda… this time in a rather lovely Black Magic L&K 2.0 TSI 190 DSG in 4x4 form!

I love it

Hi,

Coming from a MY2017 Superb Mk3 TDI190 DG6 4x4 in L&K trim, I've switched to a MY2022 Kodiaq Mk1 TDI200 4x4 in L&K trim on last thursday. As it was hard to find on the french market (I've seen only 5 on car selling websites since october), I've imported it from Germany.

Already done ~1100km with it. Quite happy.

Not the same smoothness as in my Superb in DCC comfort mode, on long motorway trips. But still correct.

Not fully used to the VC, which my Superb Mk3 did not have, but it will be just a question of days...

Some improvements coming soon. 😉

And some questions to ask... 😁

Hello, welcome to the forum.

On your fuel consumption display screen, is there a 'curser left' or 'curser right' symbol next to the displayed data? If so, pressing the curser symbol should toggle consumption figures between 'since start'; 'since refuel'; or 'long term'

Hi yeah I can pull it up on infotainment but even then it’s not what I’m looking for as that also seems to decide when it’s reading from

It’s mainly the one in the dash cluster that I want

To change or get changed if I have to go to Skoda MD

Bonnet is open as my code reader is plugged in as I’ve developed a corner light fault

You should be able to display fuel consumption data on the Maxi Dot screen - there should be a menu selection if you press the 'return' switch next to the RH roller on the MFSW.

I have my map displayed there full time

Reason being I have 3 special needs kids and they use the centre screen for Spotify on the go so I can’t really use it for my needs lol

Long time wanter, recent owner.

Hi all, new member here. Having wanted a Sportline since they came out in the UK, recently got myself what must be one of the last Mark 1's on the market. 74 plate Sportline DSG SCR 2.0 diesel with almost 200bhp under my DSG supported right foot and I love it. Goes like you know what off a shovel and still returns 56+ mpg, on a motorway run.

I traded in my 2015 Yeti for a 2023 Kodiaq 1.5TSI SE L Executive at the weekend and I am loving it so far.

I will say, getting used to the KESSY and electronic parking brake is weird, doesn't seem right using a start/stop button D

Picked up my magic black 17 plate SEL, 2.0tdi, 150, 4x4, 7 seat yesterday.

Had a Scala previously and loved it, then a brief dalliance with a Kia but quickly returned to a Skoda

Nice! Sorry if I may look curious. What did you miss that decided you to quickly return from Kia to Skoda?

Honestly it's hard to pin down, the Kia was ok but there were just a lot of little things that I found frustrating on it.

The clutch was all over the place, every time you get in the Kia the biting point seemed to have moved. I had constant problems with sticking brakes. The 7 year warranty appears to be a con, as everything I asked the dealer to do wasn't covered with the exception of making the fuel filler flap close flush.

I've heard people complain about the Skoda Lane assist and Emergency braking, but they are perfect compared to the systems fitted in the Kia.

In 3 years of owning the Scala the emergency braking kicked in twice and on both occasions it was down to the angle of the car on a tight junction making it think stationary traffic was in my lane. The Kia must have done it once every other week with no obvious cause.

The lane assist nudge on the Scala was just that, a slight nudge. On the Kia it can be quite forceful so if you aren't expecting it, it can take you by surprise and nearly rip the wheel out of your hands as it swerves you towards a parked car or cyclist.

I may have simply had a Lemon but all in all, I just didn't enjoy driving the Kia.
