Just wondering if others having same issue as me. I use CarPlay to listen to audible books and everyday after almost precisely an hour the CarPlay stops with unrecognised device.  Only option is pull out iPhone lead and replace .  Second time around CarPlay only then last 10mins and then 5 mins.  Getting quite annoying now.

Very often it's the quality of the lead or, more precisely, the quality of the interior wiring/components at the connectors - often simply breaking down due to the constant vibration of the car. Worst offender can be the Apple supplied lead. If you haven't already done so, invest in a good quality third-party lead and see if that improves things.

It may also be worth checking the go to sleep related settings on your phone and make sure that the trust options has been set so that the car can control the phone when the screen is locked.
