Fabia Monte Carlo black side skirts fit on VRS??

Featured Replies

hello guys .

has someone tried to fit the monte carlo bodykitparts to a VRS model ?

im talking about that black trim around the edges on the sideskirts and wheel arches .

i would like to try it on my vrs with the dtm front splitter with the monte skirts and my refurbt diffusor .

i think it would make it stand out wider

nice flush with 10mm spacers

The front diffuser doesn't fit , you can get nice aftermarket ones for the vrs from Maxton design I have one or superskoda do some aswell not sure about the rest of the car though

called the dealership to ask on prices of the monte stuff . almost a 1000euro for the skirts . wheelarches . and little trim .

and they come in groundpaint ... pfft costly

yes thats without front and rear bumper ...

When i bought my Monte I had asked a few dealers if they wold sell me the VRS and then put the monte kit on, they all said, yes they would sell me the VRS but not one of them would fit the bodykit, as they said it would be too complicated if they got it wrong? one of the dealer did mutter something about cutting the aches to fir the kit, but not that sure he knew what it was talking about. So to answer your question I imagine if Skoda won't do it there has to be a reason why it's not been done before (aside from the cost)

After contact the skoda warehouse and bodyshop they confirmed it can be done . Except the front and rear bumper .

The wheel arch lines and side skirts cost about 1000 euro in primer like i said . They are fitted wht glue and kit..

The bodyshop guy told me it would not be a problem . Only thing why no one would try it, is the price . For me if the parts where painted then okay maybe resonable .  1000 euros for primered parts without glue or kit .  No way . This is sad skoda
