  • Last day with my Silver MkII today. Taking out my bits & bobs, clearing the nav etc etc.    Has been the best car I've ever had - seven years from new! Will be very sad to see her go....

  • +1   The economy in my 230 is improving noticeably - I've just hit 10.5k.   Could have something to do with the warmer weather, but it's now much easier to get mid-high 30s mpg now

  • Super excited!   Just paid a deposit on a 2014 vRS DSG TSI Estate with Columbus, Pano roof & (I think) Black Pack - mirrors & grill.    Reasonable PX for my '10 vRS Estate

@BARRvrsYGood luck with your car hunt!

Be patient & prepared to travel to get the right car! It will be out there waiting for you!!

When you find one, the best advice I can give is to act fast to make sure you get it. Petrol vRSs with low miles & pan roof (& Columbus in my case) are like rocking horse poo......

Had the roof open all day today. Love it!

Half leather is standard on Mk3 vRS, full leather optional. Although it's not all real leather anyway...

eBay Motors may throw up a few more options?

Very poor quality cheap imitation leather, mine started to wear poorly at 13000 miles, battled with Skoda customer services for months to get it changed but finally gave up. Interior warranty is 6 months or 6000 miles and they would not budge.

It's actually in today being changed and that because Blade Skoda in Gloucester said as a goodwill gesture they would pay half towards a replacement.

Sorry Skoda but I don't think I'll buy another.

Do you have some photos of the worn seats? 13000miles is nothing. I am at 8500km (5300mil) and seats show literally no signs of aging whatsoever.

Now you are worrying me. :( I am actually fan of alcantara, and on FL they made a switch, which is thing that additionally worries me. Well, if it gets ruined, at least I know a service which can replace it with alcantara, so might not be that terrible...
