I retrofitted a A5 Front camera , and recently i calibrate it  successfully ,

High Beam Assist is working wonderfully

Traffic Sign Assit Working wonderfully

Lane assist is not , "Currently unavailable

If you made a Retrofit, how did you code the A5 Control Unit?

I suppose you've followed some coding process for the Lane Assist, right?
which has it been?

What message does it appear when it does not work?

ps: Do you have Park Assistant?

  9. Switch to the  A5 module , front assistance system for the front sensors
  10. Enter the  extended encoding
  11. Access that byte mode
  12. In  byte 16 , activate bit 7
  13. Confirmation with the visa.
  14. Return to Module A5 menu
  15. Enter the  security code
  16. Enter the code 20103
  17. Insert  adaptations
  18. In  BAP Customization , switch from "On" to "Off"
  19. Let's return to the adaptations.
  20. In  warning intensity.  Lane change assistant: change from "Medium" to "Selection through menu"
  21. In  Personaliz.  time of  the interval with terminal 15 on:, check that "Last adjustment" is marked
  22. We went to the Modules menu.

  24. Go to  form 5F Electronic information.
  25. Insert  adaptations
  26. Vai a Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 :

  45. Activate in the menu Auto / Assistants to the Lane Assist

ATTACHMENT: It appears that some cases have been reported in which the following message appeared at the end of the trial: "LANE ASSISTANCE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME in Maxidot".

Coincides that this happened with a partner who equipped  Park Assist . Even if I'm not 100% sure it's the cause, it could be. In this case, the solution was provided by making a further step in the coding, which is as follows:

46. Go to  form 75 Parking assistance. 47. Enter extended encoding48. Access mode 49 bytes. Byte 3 , activate bit 5

The error that i got is , i have a Checkbox item for lane assist in maxi dot , when i enabling it , i get this

Maybe the dynamic Calibration is not good,i have to see the values from obd

BUT HBA and Traffic sign recognision works perfectly.

Something else that i want to note is the 44 Power steering module .  when i entered longcode helper for the 44 module , there was an warning poped that saying i will have no longcode help , so i dint have any info displayed for every bit , i just followed the instruction and into  Byte 3 , checked activate bit 5.

No errors also for the 44 module ,

Too many unknowns.

If you installed the A5 sensor, it may be a calibration problem.

But perhaps without the serial camera, some other component is needed in a higher version, ... like the BCM might need one (Medium Plus - BCM MQBAB M +) or (High - BCM MQBAB H).
What model do you equip?

We do not have experiences with retrofits of the A5 sensor, only with activation with the Traffic Assist as standard.

Another thing, you said "Something else that i want to note is the 44 Power steering module when i entered longcode helper for the 44 module, there was an warning poped that saying i will have no longcode help, so i dint have any info displayed for every bit, i just followed the instruction and into Byte 3, checked activate bit 5. But the process indicates "byte 3, activate bit 0" in the "44 Powe r steering module", ... Is it a typing error?

Maybe we could compare the encoding with a Log of yours.

I can't find in the Apps menu of OBDeleven the option to activate the road signs recognition :(. My car has lane assist, acc, front assist, light and rain sensors, the 9.2" infotainment system, so, as I understood in these pages, it has all the necessary elements to activate it and that it's only a matter of coding.

Someone who succeded with OBDEleven, can help me please?

Is lane assist a requirement for road sign recognition? I'm contemplating buying an OBDEleven and would like to add whatever is possible. Our Karoq doesn't have lane recognition though. Also, is the above all done through the short code options in the app or is long code needed?

But again the BCM B H M  etc , its more for the pins used , how many pins arae active and you can used them , i doupt that this is the problem because the Road sign rec. and the High beam assist woulnt work , Also non of the retrofit experts has this as "must have" you only need new windshield

I think that is the Dynamic Calibration , Dynamic calib  executes right after the manual calibration of the camera with the board. you have to go into the road and drive some kilometers in order the camera to be calibrated. i ll check the values of it .

WOW thats awsome man THANKS!

i have updates

I changed the Coding for the first 8 digits that corresponds to skoda karoq ,
and the error message , appeard  detailed

0659 - Steering
          C10AC F2 [008] - Lane-Holding Assistance Not Coded
[New feature! Extended UDS fault detail is only supported by current gen. interfaces]
Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear

i think the problem is on module 44

do you have your coding for module 44 to take a look at the diffs , thanks a tone!

I see the Byte 11: Value 81 , very interesting  i use the LC, 12.1.00, Main Unit Not Enabled ?

WOW eso es impresionante hombre GRACIAS!

tengo actualizaciones

Did you reset the MMI?

Of Course: UC44:  01 00 00 11 00 C0 01 10

- Against steering wheel - activated
- Parking assistance system for parking - Inactive
- Slope Compensation - Not activated
- Lane departure warning system - Activated
- Steering wheel steering angle transmitter - Message_sent

Hi All.

I need help :)  Can't get maps working on digital dashboard.

Can anyone with fully working digital dashboard and working maps do the scan of modules 17 and 5F with adaptations ?

Retrofitting of Virtual cockpit (AID) with MOST fibre completed.   Additional coding for MOS fibre to allow maps as well as callers and radio stations icons to be visible on digital dashboard is here:
