Is that possible on Karoq for taillights? Swipe left to watch the third clip please (alternate hazard flasher)

Yes it will be possible. Quite why you’d want to do it though is a mystery to me.  The only outcome is people behind you will be somewhat confused as to what’s going on.

  • buy the car and we will talk about it

  • I received my OBD11 earlier this week and have managed to implement some nice changes including: Traffic sign recognition, auto high beam (light assist), mirror dip, acoustic confirmation of lock

  • Well, as we're leaving the EU thats not going to be a problem is it??      When I collect mine I will insist it's activated.

What's the part number and SW version you have?

According to the manual, there is a presider to have the passenger's mirror, lowering in reversing.

Tell me if this helped.

Not working.

Not working

Hi all,

mirror dip only works if your car has the seat memory module fitted

I've got a MY18 SEL with heated seats but manual adjustment and I've activated mirror dip using OBDeleven.

Works fine except the range of "dip" movement isn't as great as it was on my 2006 Octavia L&K.

I've got a MY 19 SEL with heated seats but manual adjustment and I've activated mirror dip using OBDeleven.

Not working.

No memory seats on my car but activated the mirror dip using VCDS

A restricted movement but mirrors are big, it allows to see the kerb stone with little dip

What settings did you use as most on the Areca forum have found that it’s random what car contain the module even without memory seats

I get it done to a local ICE dealer

It seams that like there is a miss understanding on the mirror dip issue.

IRFANT seams to have manage without memory seats.

Since Karoq is VAG base, and VW has this option active, without memory seats, in my case, a have a Golf 7, I believe its a VCDS tweek.

IRFANT, can you explain how to in VCDS? Did you have to do the presider as described in the manual user as well?

I'm not familiarly with OBDeleven.

Thanks.

I've requested the coding from the ICE dealer, as follows:

Select Control unit 52 (Türelektr. Beifahr.)
Control unit Long Coding
Byte 04
Bit 2-Activate
Bit 3-Activate
Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics)
Access Code 31347
Adaptation
(15) Access Control 2-Spiegelabsenkung bei Rueckwaertsfahrt
Value=Active
(20) Access Control 2-Menuesteuerung Spiegelabsenkung
Value=Active

I did the presider as described in the manual

So looks like it is random if it will work or not, but looks like MY19 without electronic seats are not working. I guess they changed some of by-default package of modules they install (my guess for reasons the electromechanical steering column or virtual cockup etc. is introduced so configuration changed and they reshaped modules package).

So it is of interest here to hear only of MY19 vehicles WITHOUT memory/electronic AND without heated seats if they succeed to get mirror dipping.

In the VW group I don´t believe in random situations.

The only reason is if the module installed is different from the one that does something that others don't.

In the Scirocco for example, the mirror dipping  only worked with electrical folding mirrors. In the beginning that was the answer, until some one decided to do an low cost upgrade, and found out that it is just the mirror motor that makes the difference.

Cheque if your model is this one.

Ok now we have different hw and SW versions as well as difference in coding...

Did you tried his coding? It is much different than instructions.

I'm going to use coding by RedleH?

Yes you can try. It is surely very different than yours above.

Did anyone activate the traffic sign recognition display or the High Beam Assist?

Regarding the HBA, how do you set it to On if you don't have this option on the lights lever?
