Hello, I am new to this website but I have bought a 2009 Skoda Fabia. I find the existing stereo reasonable, however it is lacking features like usb, Apple car play and Android auto. I have found a few rcd330 stereos on eBay and they seem to meet my requirements. I just wanted to know if this fits and works in my car? Do I need any adapters or a new trim piece?

Have to be careful with 2009 models as the non-canbus system can cause battery drain. It does advise this in most of the Chinese sellers listings. 

 

Fyi it it works perfect in my 2011 vrs but that’s canbus. 

I have bought the radio and fitted it. It works but it displays turn on ignition to use Bluetooth also it doesn't turn on and off with the ignition.

 

Do I need a canbus gateway, if so what one and how do I fit it?
