Do tell!

285bhp and 448Nm. It was pretty fast to begin with but now, wow! Need better tyres, though. I'll do that after the holiday.

Chucked a bucket of water over it. Three hours later this is the result.         Happy with that

rolled over 123456km on the way back up here :)

now safely in the heated garage to melt all the snow off... just reveals how damned dirty it is. Well, it's been around 5000kms in the worst weather, so I'm not really surprised. But when it's -20C you can't exactly wash outside... need to come up with a plan to wash soon.

fitted a maxton front splitter and waxed the car for the first time in a year!!

Sunday: added time alignment to the DSP. Wow, this is good.

Monday: 10 hours seat time, Helsinki and back. Boy, were those some terrible road conditions - ice rain is awful stuff. Want heated headlamp lenses, would help an awful lot. Car had multiple mm of ice on the mirrors by the time I got back home... on the way to the office the snow as so packed onto the hatch that I had to dig the hatch switch out.

Over 126000km now, it's been a hectic Christmas.

Next on the list of factory retrofits:

Petrol webasto parking heater with remote function

DCC suspension

Canton sound system

the webasto was never an option in the U.K. but you get a lovely option to have the car pre heat before you leave for work in the morning on cold days.

DCC because my shocks are starting to leak so why not

and canton because I do over 100 miles a day and like my music.

How straightforward is retro fitting canton?

What engine?

Far from easy, lots of new coding, new wires, custom fibre optic wires, interior and door strip down and a lot of new wiring and terminals.

not to mention all the parts

OK, forget that idea then!

which splitter did you go for? the 1, 2 or 3. It looks brilliant

webasto is awesome; note that you can't run it when the "Low fuel" light is on. And some remotes have way better range than others... I'm on my third car with it in and this is the first one with a really good range.

What remap was it, and who did it? Probably going to do mine sooner rather than later.

Done by Jim Curley at Star Performance at Dysart in Fife. They've been on the go for many years. I had my Octavia VRS done there back in 2005 and decided to go back with the Superb. Excellent value at £350 including a run on their 4 wheel rolling road.

Finally put the Audi winter wheels on this week.

Quite happy with how they look. Lower offset so they fill the arches more

The tyres are a rubbish brand but are brand new so thought I'd give them a chance, seem OK so far!

Pic of how the car normally sits on the vegas too.

Which Audi wheels are these? Looks really good on them!

Had the wonderful news that my coolant was contaminated (out of warranty).  Had it in to a VAG indie and had the expansion tank replaced (minus the silica bag), including coolant flush etc and thankfully only cost me £200.  Stealers wanted £300+ just to diagnose the issue !

Going back in to the VAG indie later for MOT and Service/Oil change later today (just done 30k miles).

Yep, yours is sweet. Mines an estate.

All I've done is enjoy driving mine!!!

I got rid of my MK4 vRS and I couldn't be happier with my new Superb!! I love it!

I washed mine before I was handed the brownest silver car award.

I love estates! I wanted one... but couldn't find a decent one in budget.

Can't find a definitive name but they seem to be described as 5F and "Roti Vara"

They will be ‘superb’ for the superb. Have them on mine with H&R springs. Made a huge difference to ride quality, wallowiness and crashyness
