They will be ‘superb’ for the superb. Have them on mine with H&R springs. Made a huge difference to ride quality, wallowiness and crashyness

Dare I ask how much a set is??

2 days in, me and two mates went out into the hills on a walking trip tiday, via the back lanes in the preselis. 3 up in the car and its crashing into ruts and dips at moderate speeds, so I knew it couldn't wait any longer.

Fitted a dash cam, hard wired, followed info from Superbsport and @Royf280,

hardest part was being careful but firm removing the windscreen A pillar trim, quite difficult to re fit but managed ok in the end.

Rear camera fitting to follow.

I too struggled to refit the A-pillar trim back in place, especially the bottom area where the dash meets the windscreen and A-pillar.

Exactly the same issue I had.

For anyone that may of been interested. By having the canton sound system it adds around 130 meters of wiring to the interior wiring loom.

When the last of the parts turn up I can let you know the total weight of having a canton sound system.

i'm not sure it's going to be anywhere near as good as a decent aftermarket one. I'd be interested to hear the final numbers for the parts and compare to the system I've had put in.

I do know I freaked out a couple of younger guys Sunday evening when filling - I'd been using Drake's "hotline bling" to test and there's quite a lot of bass and it wasn't quiet ;) the guys looked at me funny when i emerged from the car, as I figure they weren't expecting a graying forty-something rather than a young dude with that much bass :D

Very happy with the system now I've played with the crossovers and taken some of the bass off the front doors and letting the Sub do the work. It's also cleaner sounding and drops beautifully. Ed Sheeran's NPR "Tiny home" concert sounds absolutely fantastic.

^^ need to do this next, getting some spare a-pillars and then mounting & aiming the tweeters properly.

Might be the case that aftermarket is better yeah, but I much prefer oem+ modifications and retrofits. Looks cleaner and is already perfectly tuned.

For the price I’ve got the bits for too, you ain’t gonna get Anything better

Put 4 jack pads on my car.

How it looks on the car.

How it works.

Also put the ball joint spacer on  the car (the blue one).  It helps the lower control arm stays at the stock position for a lowered car. Basically when lower a car, it will definitely affects the suspension geometry. If the lower control arm points to the sky on a car, the car drives like shxt when cornering.

But as the photo can tell, the stock bolt is on short side, since I'm not able to remove the bolts from the ball joint and put some longer bolts here. I think I still need to order a set of after marketi ball joint which comes with removable bolt.

Also test install my new wheels. Now waiting for new tyres arrived.

Shouldn’t the axle stand go on those rubbers and trolley jack from the sills?

The official lifting points is from the sills from what I’ve seen

I think both can be fine.  I tried to put stands under the rubbers at beginning, but I felt it's not stable and secure enough.

I also bought another pad designed to work with the rubber pads. It has magnet on it, and can suck under the rubber pads. However, the diameter of this pad is larger than the head of my trolley jack. So it is stand 'on' my trolley jack, not 'in' the head of my jack. It can slip when I jack up the car.

The plug-in part of the rubber jack pad is made by metal, it is a little bit smaller than the head of my jack. As a result, I discovered that jack up the car with trolley jack, and put stand under the sills was the stablest way for my jack and stands.

Had the Superb into West End Skoda in Edinburgh, for its first service in my ownership. Nice easy process, got a Karoq as a courtesy car for the day.

Asked if they cleaned the strainer as part of the haldex service - no, asked if they could - yes, just have to price the seals for the pump as we don't normally remove it. Price came back as £179 or thereabouts. I declined as local indy charges £112.

Also was declined a fix for the squeaky wishbone bushes under warranty - £145 to drop the arms + grease + refit - no thanks.

Declined a new glove box assembly under warranty as it often opens out of nowhere. £288 to have that replaced. No thanks, can live with it for that price.

Will get booked into the indy in Feb for haldex, fitting the Koni Special Actives and maybe the squeaks.

I only ever use the jack stands on the axle points.

I use the trolley jack on the sills to lift the car, then place the jack stands.

Try spraying white lithium grease on to the anti-roll bar bushes, accessible from engine bay and from behind both front wheels. In my case this got rid of the squeaking.

Fitted my 2nd hand Skoda roof bars (picking up a huge roof box tomorrow), also fitted a rear bumper guard to protect/hide some nasty chips and scratches from previous owner's dog. The 'silver' option (of 3, plus black or stainless) is a surprisingly close match to my silver car.

Looks almost like a clear plastic film, good match
