What features do you want? That’s a MIB2 Bolero. If you want the larger screen then 5E0919605N is the one you want, plug and play upgrade.

Hey, could someone point me to right direction. maybe @SashaGrace? I have the Amundsen 5E0 919 605 D central unit with 5E0 035 864 A screen. What is the "best" screen which can be fitted from newer models? I have VCDS so coding is not an issue (with guidance).

You have the only screen you can use with that radio. If you want an 8 or 9.2 inch screen you need a MIB2 radio.

Ok, then I need to start looking for suitable MIB and screen combo which supports large screen and Carplay.

This is a headunit from 2014 Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI manual transmission. 

Over the years I've felt a need to upgrade the system as my another new car has android auto. I wanted to know which is compatible and I also wanted to know if a reverse camera can be fitted into the car, as there are only sensors.

inspired by this thread, I've decided to upgrade my infotainment in Octavia (end 2015.) - purchased second hand 5E0919605N FL Bolero screen to replace my existing 6,5'' 5E0919605H. As said, it was a very easy swap (once I've got my hands on the proper tool).

Very satisfied with the result, but there is a minor issue - screen arrived without bottom plastic fascia, so after installation it doesn't look very nice.

I wonder if it is a separate component, in which case I would appreciate information on the part number. Or, if someone has it and is willing to sell it and send to Croatia, please contact me via PM.

Finally, one more question - is it possible to do something about non-functioning APP button?

No part number I don't think. Best suggestion in the past has been to hunt for a broken screen on eBay with it included. 

 

Or contact the seller and see if they have it?

I was thinking of doing an upgrade to mu Octavia.
I have Bolero multimedia system 5E0035819A and display 5E0 919 605.
I found MIB2.5  5Q0035874C and display  5E0 919 605 M

As I read here, I will have to find someone to do CP removal and to code it for changes?

Do I need to change anything else?

Quick questions. I have a Bolero MiB2,5. Is there any quick solution to have also DAB? Car: Octavia Mk3,5

Can only use 5E0 displays, 3V0 is Superb display and it doesn’t fit.

Im interested in upgrading my stereo, is there a list of what units work with what screens etc so I can see wether I can just upgrade my screen or I need a whole new setup.
