Hi everyone, I have started a new topic about the GVN60 upgrade to my Bolero Head Unit.  The unit was installed by a Skoda Dealer the other day and whilst resetting a TPM alert and ABS Fault Code via VCDS, I noticed a fault code of 5634 in the MU-S-DER  041 0435 component.

This states "Control Head for Multimedia System, MEDIA Source Selection Button, B1291 F3 (009) - Unkown Error Elaboration"

Is this because the 'Media' button now has two functions, a short press to select Media and a 2 second press for the Sat Nav to operate?  Is this, therefore nothing to worry about?  Any thoughts please? Thanks Alan

Alan - this is normal for the GVN60 retrofit.

 

You are correct, the error is from the Media button having an additional designation. The "fault" is nothing to worry about and does not need to be reset. You can clear the fault however, it will return every time you use the satnav.
