I couldn't get Nick Parks' "Shaun the Sheep" out of my head ... led to 'woolly' thinking I suspect :)

I listen a lot to Dudley Moore's jazz. He doesn't get enough recognition for being a world-class jazz pianist, as well as composing not only jazz, but also movie scores. Of course being an Oxford organ scholar put him in good stead with the music world, but sadly for his main tutor, he went down the jazz road. In fact, when asked if he (the tutor) had ever taught a genius, he said "only one, Dudley Moore"

I didn't know that about him.  I've seen the TV comedy and the films but not the true musician.  Consider the contrast between that and the likes of "Derek & Clive"!

I was introduced to them by a man who was my friend - sadly who died before his time - but he arranged for tickets to a live presentation in a pub in north London.  The recorded versions - whilst crude, vulgar & scatological - are by comparison chapel readings when compared to the live version when delivered to a pub full of inebriated north Londoners (Mussie Hill area).

What have The Archers to do with it?
