Todays big scare again is on Pigs in Blankets / or pigs in kilts this Christmas.   (Expect outrage from the SNP.)

Loss of workers to wrap bacon around a small sausage as machines can not do it.

This will likely affect Boris if he needs to DIY with his sausage.

No idea why the unemployed with no religious objections or moral objections can not be taking on the job to wrap the bacon on sausages.

Quelle surprise. The us healthcare model will soon be in the UK. That's healthcare for the wealthy, the middle and poorer classes can't afford much above aspirin or paracetamol. Heart medication, diabetic medication, medication to control mental illness will quickly become unaffordable. The government, using the American model will arrange for more (private) prisons to be built. Who knows you may see chain gangs  leaning up along the motorways as UK citizens trundle by in their imported used Japanese micro cars.

Is it me or does Boris's head look burnt ?

Is it using the blond hair dye to keep looking younger ?

Any road up, SNP guy spoke well.  No reason to trust BoJo and give him an election when he cannot be trusted to go out without a deal, just ask the DUP as to BoJo loyalty.

I see Brock has started despite everything messing up traffic in Kent.

Trucking Chaos! No-Deal Brexit Lorry Park Causes Major M20 Jams

Commuters faced “chaos” on Monday after a lorry park was set up on the M20 to get it ready for a no-deal Brexit - despite the EU agreeing to delay Britain’s departure.

The reintroduction of Operation Brock caused almost immediate traffic jams after morning roadworks in Kent overran into rush hour, with a crash later compounding problems.

It is understood the complicated contraflow system could take up to 48 hours to stand down, with Highways England and the government yet to make a decision.

Critics branded the government “cack-handed” for stepping up no-deal Brexit preparations last week and questioned why it had taken the “truly baffling decision” to introduce the measures before Britain has even left the EU.

The complicated contraflow system, part of the government’s billions of pounds of spending on no-deal Brexit preparations, is designed to allow motorists to continue to use the M20 while setting aside space for lorries heading to Dover to queue, in case of disruption at the port after EU withdrawal.

But three hours after the EU agreed to accept Britain’s request to delay Brexit from Thursday to January 31, Operation Brock was still in place.

Kent radio station knfm shared photographs of the chaos, which began unfolding from early this morning .

Asprin , Ibruprofen and Paracetamol are 32-35 pence for 16 in Asda or Tesco and you can only buy 2 boxes at a time, theu make a profit on those boxes

or you can pay double or treble for the dearer ones.

I get them free on prescription while the NHS in Scotland pay about £12 per prescription filled.

All a bit of a con really with NHS procurement.

Japanese Micro cars are all many need if they are getting company cars to use in towns and cities.

Well, that's another £100 Million 'spaffed' up the wall. OUR money!

And the NAO said it was very poorly done.

Speaking to loads of business, in between meetjng Mr Gove, HMRC ITDLOs etc it was clear that communication from government to trade was abysmal.

I can assure you that communication from Government dept to Government dept is also abysmal. Don't make the mistake of thinking you private business people are getting special treatment in the abysmal communication stakes.

It is very bad even within a government department, talk about silo mentality !

I still have lots of friends in HMRC that want to be open about the situation.

All looked very good at Westminster conference centre with Mr Gove there and various head of government department but a bit of digging and questioning and the charade soon falls.

Its basically through the problem at Industry and you work it out between yourselves ie exporters/importer/software houses/carriers/customs agents and just hope the government computing system can handle it.

re: Paracetamol ( Roottootsuite )

Have been prescribed paracetamol for 10 years, and have NEVER used the scrip.

Pay cash for them at Co-op

Paracetamol and other over the counter meds will be removed from being eligible for prescriptions shortly.

There's a list of all of them on the NHS website

@gadgetman  Is that a list on a NHS website for England and Wales or the UK?

EDIT, long past 31st May 2018 and it seems stuff on the list are still eligible for Scotland.

I can confirm it can't. But it can with a £100M contract to a large conglomerate like Crapita.

Well it could, but after 18months and £150M spent, 3 changes of ministers and most of the budget spent on consultants and biscuits the project will be culled and lambasted as a disgrace in the press, by the OGC and the NAO.

There I've saved you 18 months, that'll be £15M thanks. You can put it down in a press release as an overall saving of £135M on the project.

I don't remember a single intsance of them meddling in our Sovereign Parliaments affairs during this debacle or forcing the UK to hold another referendum.
Maybe the EU doesn't interfere as much as some papers would have you believe...

As he said, make best use of the time and stop kicking the can down the road.

Our PM could have proceeded with the WAB and set us for a November Brexit, but threw his toys out - as he regularly seems to do.

So if you really want to be angry that brexit is now pushed back beyond December, then you need to vent at Boris and the Cabinet ;)

Corbyn wouldn’t agree to a timetable for the WAB, instead creating more limbo.

Maybe I'm missing something but isn't that just the letter from Boris to JC and not JC disagreeing a timetable!

No, Corbyn and parliament wanted more time.

Boris put that conditionally on a general election.

He held parliament to ransome to get what he's craved since day 1. An election to cement him having a 5 year tenure.

Still you believe this is about brexit and serving the people rather than serving Boris own interests.
