MY20 Karoq Prices/Orders

Featured Replies

Any news on MY20 orders and Prices?

Seen initial (minor) spec changes posted here but nothing further. Here in OZ was about to lock in a deal only to be advised they can’t place orders as no longer accepting MY19 orders, and don’t have specs or pricing on MY20 so can’t order those either 🤨. They declined to take a deposit until they could confirm details.💸

Seems a strange way of doing business, or refusing business based on not having info at hand.

Is is this normal when MY changes occur or am I being fed a line?

hello forum,

My Karoq was produced on 07 Nov 2019, it is a 1.5 TSI, and while waiting for it to arrive (bought it from dealer stock) ... do you know if it is a my2020 or my2019.

thanks

Depends when it was built, the MY changeover normally happens around the time of the factory summer break in July (or thereabouts). So unless you Karoq was in dealer stock it's probably a MY20 - but the only way to be sure is to look at the 10th character of the VIN (e.g. on the windscreen tag) VIN Basics then decode the MY character MY Encoding

thank you!

VIN is TMBJR7NU8L5020745

It seems 2020... L is the 10th char.

I think, stress think, that the MY20 is when they went from having a Skoda badge on the tailgate to having Skoda in writing.....?

Yeah, I think also the same. The thing is that the dealer is ~600 km away so not that easy to see the car.

i will see it only when picking it up, so I wanted to know What to expect :)

if it’s my20 or my19.
