Andy is a 'man with 2 x sheds'

Is he related to Mr Arthur Jackson by any chance?

When lunch is assembled from leftovers, in between jobs...

Pub grub, soup and a sandwich - retails at about a tenner.

Southern fried chicken fillet toasted sandwich, and veg soup.

And yes. I drank the soup from the carton like a savage...

My father in law is a "man with three sheds" ;)

Sounds like my SIL - with three on the road(Transit with an infestation of ferrous oxide, an old MK4 Cortina and an old Capri) and a selection of wooden ones out the rear of the house where he keeps his selection of bikes ) .

On first reading i accidentally (out of habit from my in laws) interpreted SIL as Sister In Law... made the rest of that post a lot more interesting :D

I've just made a family favourite for tonight's tea! Cottage pie with savoy cabbage. 🍲

Now that does look nice, what time would you like Mrs G and Mr G to arrive, we'll bring wine       🍷

I'll bring my BR rule book

Thought it might be Lancashire hot pot. We have a beef slow pot bubbling away that I put on at 7am this morning, photo to follow when ready for eating later, then Saturday and Sunday (it's a large piece of beef).:)

As promised Beef slow pot served on a slice of Asda's Finest Seeded bread with potato, sweet potato, carrots, leek, parsnip and swede. Yes it tasted as good as it looked.

I'm going to have a go at making those Chinese dumplings and I've ordered one of these contraptions off the bay and all the ingredients for making them are on the next shopping list.🍽️

I might even make some sprout ones for Christmas dinner 😲

I'll be interested to see how your experimentation turns out.  Mind you, I think an upwind watching brief is a must when it comes to the sprout project!
