I read it somewhere that the engine must be off while performing the update.

In that case, I will do the update while driving, commuting home takes one hour anyway...

The update went well. Took about roughly 15 minutes to finish. Infotainment rebooted a few times.

Got a message about starting a diagnostic test but couldn't start only the cancel button was available so I pressed cancel.

Everything seems to work fine, settings were saved, didn't lose anything as I could test so far.

Anything for Superb?

After running OBD11 diagnostics, a static fault about multimedia software came out and can't be deleted. I don't mind, everything works fine.

I used this tip of YouTube and cleared it.

Hello @pab567, i have a question that maybe you can answer...  I updated my infotainment (5Q0035874C, HW H41 SW 478) to SW 480 because of problems with wlan connection. It didn't help, but i found that the error was because of the APN of the phone (using ipv6 instead of ipv4). It worked flawlessly until now, but now my infotainment refuses to connect through the phone's hotspot and i was thinking about restoring the older version (478). Can it be done the same way?

The Infotainment connects to the phone, i can see the connection on the phone and in the infotainment settings on the w-lan page, but there is no connection to the internet through the phone. Hence i cannot connect to the infotainemnt online services. I tried different phones with different android versions, without avail.

You can downgrade from Service Menu / Testomode /. Manual SWDL but you must enable Developer Mode in adaptations first.
