Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update

Recommended Posts

Sadly you know the dealers are lying to you, it should in stages be able to update to 0324 (eventually)

But in upgrading from such an old version, it will erase your Sat nav licence iirc.

Took a few visits and allot of repeating myself to look up the TPI but they finally updated it to 324.

Just Android Auto not working wirelessly yet.

Hello, Is there an update for this?

I am having a big issue where AA was working just fine - then out of the blue it now requires a key, wont connect to nav or bluetooth. I am hoping an update will resolve.

Thanks,image.thumb.jpeg.def152b6c59cc40baed637f085e0b7af.jpeg

Hello,

Does anyone have MST2_EU_SK_PQ_3xxT

Any version. I have in Amundsen MST2_EU_SK_PQ_253T

I would like to go higher to 3xx software.

I have also Bolero with MST2_EU_SK_PQ_353T

It is possible to extract it and install to Amundsen?

Hi all

  • Can somebody let me know if there is a possibility to have firmware available with this hardware ? I meant to read that the newest version is 254 for this hardware, is this correct ? Where is this available ?
  • Also is it possible to activate Android Auto (and/or MirrorLink) by myself ? I have a working HEX-V2 CAN bus and did a little tweaks but don't know if it's possible to activate.

Thanks in advance.

I think the reason is that Google decided programmed that in their web app Google Photos when you do right-click -> "copy image"  you're copying a link, and not the actual image.

Going from SOp3 frimware (03xx) to SOP4 (04xx) is not a piece of cake. First you have to flash th eunit with patched swdownload and then flash with 04xx firmware with especially modified metainfo2.txt.

Ok, I was able to successfully upgrade fw from 369T to 480T. Had issues the first time i realized SD card i was using was not class10. I attempted with a class 10 SD card and this time it worked.:) !

Good morning - this is my current firmware. I am now getting error code '01555 - Check Software Version Management', which I try to reset, but it immediately comes back on next scan. Any suggestions or updated firmware, greatly appreciated

I've never used Carista but this is a pretty common occurrence as it'll happen after every firmware update. It might be worth contacting their support to see if it can be cleared with their tool.

That being said, it has zero impact on anything so it's completely safe to ignore :)

I was unable to try again for the last 2 weeks as I was away until this morning. But I can finally report that I am now upgraded to 369 and the #10 fuse and glovebox are back installed! Thanks for all your patience, especially Varoom. I got to the bottom of the reason the error happened and perhaps it may help someone else in the future. I unzipped (with 7-zip) from the download file to the freshly formatted sd card. But one needs to first unzip the downloaded zipped file to a directory in your download folder. Then copy the directory contents to the SD card. Unzipping directly to the sd card does not work.

I've had various issues as I get more used to the car with the reverse camera not always working and issues with android auto such as the latest I found when there is no option to press number when connected to an automated phone system. I opened a thread on these (below) and the conclusion was that my firmware need reflashing!

Have ye seen this before? Should I try a new flash of the same download as before
