Hi,

 

I've got the below system on my Skoda Superb Elegance 2013.  The system only turns intermittently, it can sometimes take up to an hour before deciding to load up and start working.  Once it starts working though it stays on a works fine.  It feels like it's a software issue, and perhaps needs updating, but i don't know how to do it.  I have the ability to load up an SD card, but what to load up and how to perform the process i have no idea.  Any help welcomed,  @Pab576 seems to know all there is to know about this?

Itr's rather HW than SW issue. Of course you may reflash the unit with latest SW just to be on the safe side but first you must send model number and current SW version - long press SETUP then SYSTEM INFORMATION.

Which guide did you follow to do it/how did you do it and did you use battery charger for it or did you do it with engine on?

 

I'm just about to go out and buy SD card, which SD card do you have as that is very quick.

It took 5 mins, no need for a battery charger, hold down the menu button and software update will appear

I am not sure if this is the appropiate thread but i have a Rapid Spaceback and the radio works really really bad. The bluetooth hangs, the displayed song freezes and does not match with the one that sounds...Also the android auto fails afther some time working and y have tried with two cables and two phones and the result is the same. So i would want to upgrade. The firmware settings are:

Awesome to see how people are helping eachother here.
I drive a Seat Leon FR from 2016.

Current firmware version is 0245, see attached image.

I've seen a post of @wlado93 updating from 0245 to 0515. Can this be done at once, or needed to be staged? Would be very nice if you can share your procedure. 
Already have a 16gb class 10 FAT32 formatted SD card.
Are there any codes that need to be resetted afterwards? In that case, I'll get myself an OBDeleven.

And do you have the correct file for my firmware update? Eventhough I drive a Seat, I think it's the same for VW/Seat/Skoda?

Current SW Train is "MST2_EU_SE_ZR_PO245T"

Although updating unit from 02xx (so called SOP2) to higher SW is possible however it's not just a simple update - it requires unit to be hacked first and then reflashed with especially modified final SW. Moreover, from my experience I do not recommend for units installed in SEAT LEON 5F to go higher than SOP3 as then you might be affected with some incompatibility between infotainment unit and BCM that requires adjusting of coding and adaptation of BCM while from the features point of view going higher than SOP3 does not bring any new features.

 

Unfortunately all I can share with you is latest official SOP2 SW - you have download link on PM.
