Thanks Pab the update got sound working again.  Can't see any difference with the update though.

 

Do you know how I can stop my radio overheating on warm days, so this doesn't happen again.  It was only less than 30min journey from work to home when it happened.  Has happened few times but always came back on again after a bit.

Hi!

I was wondering if there's an update available for my Scala. Almost every 5th time when I start the car, the system starts without audio. When I try to adjust it (audio) from the steering wheel or from the display, it just shows the muted audio icon. Pressing the power button on the display for like 10 seconds reboots it, and usually audio starts working after that. I also have tried resetting to factory settings, but it keeps saying that the reset has failed. @pab567

This is one of very few problems that these units have which is extremely hard for troubleshooting and repair. Very often it ends with unit replacement :(

OK so I had the software on my head unit upgraded by the dealership yesterday while it was in for its service.

What extra features would this have that I can enable, and how do I enable them :)

 

I see people mentioning Skoda Surround, how to i get that up and running now?
