Yeah exactly, not to say I didn’t hate it at the time the tensioner failed 😕

Very much agreed! I believe if you change the tensioner (if the engine hasn’t already gone bang) then it’s a pretty good engine 👍🏻

What's the expected life of the revised tensioner?

I believe they should last life of the engine but... some choose to change the chain and tensioner after a certain mileage for piece of mind or if the chain stretches etc. 😀

Just found this thread, my 2.0L TSI CCZA has done 119.091 miles (198486 km) and is working perfectly so far! :)
