That would be a good idea, it is very quiet in the evening.

Jason, despite my 1300hrs crossing, I too fully intend to have a lap before closing time ;)

Shifty, you will really need to get a move on to make the track Friday night. You on a ferry or the tunnel? The hour ahead is the problem!! Good luck though.

I'm planning to go with the main group and fully intend being at the track for the opening of the afternoon session.

As long as we're on our way by 12:30 from the meeting point and keep the fuel stop to half hour I see no reason for not making the 17:15 opening.

A suggestion? For those that haven't been, the Ring car park is split into 2 sections, as the group is fairly big I'd suggest going in the left section. As you turn into the Ring from the roundabout there's a big building (Grune Holle) on the left, probably best to park behind this.

Right, Mr Organised here has totally cocked up. When I booked my ferry it me only me going. Then the Nikki (my girlfriend) wanted to come, I just assumed that it would be fine as the car was booked with Norfolkline - and didn't get round to telling them until today!

Guess what - no room on the 8am crossing (nor the 6am), so I'm now on the 10a, crossing:O . I'll be arriving at 1pm local time and head straight for Center Parc. If time permits might then sneak to the Ring for an evening lap!

Alex - do we all get keys to the Chalets upon booking in do you know or will I have to track down one of our room mates who has already booked in??

Thanks guys and see you there rather than just over the water.

I feel a right bloody nobber....

:D If all goes well I will disembarking at 1530 hrs local time, quick refuel at the Total garage, the 277 miles with no stops. I need to average 80 mph to get to the ring by 1900hrs. Its not a problem ;)

Oh dear!

Anyway, Little Miss Worry is still doing exactly that, and has just under 2 and a half hours to get ready, including a shower, but I still seem to be doing nothing about it and I'm just sat here looking at this thread...

2 1/2 hours for a woman to get ready! is that possible??????

:D

shut it you!! lol

we will soon see...have had shower but am still wet, clothes are packing themselves in my room....almost, I told my mum what I wanted and she's puttin them in my bag!

Still need to finish CD!! oh well, get packin done first!

an hour and a half left to go....

 Never mind on the booking. I thought extra passengers in a car would be OK, as effectively they're only foot passengers. C'est la vie.

I should be packing my car up with everything, but I'm off to play golf for a couple of hours. :o:rofl:

I did it with no problem.

What should have been done then is a seperate foot passenger booking, drop them off at the terminal and meet back up on the ferry.
