Delivery times?

Featured Replies

I just got an update from my dealer. So my car was ordered on March 10th. There is still no confirmed date yet.

But the car is going to be model year 2022 - which means that the RED colour I choose is no longer an option so I have to pick another colour.

Mamba green is available.... @TheUltraRunnershould I go for it :)

  • Well 13.5 months waiting and I finally collected my Octy Estate vRS yesterday. I couldn't be happier  👍😀

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

  • Just took delivery of mine but had to cancel some of the optional extras

Yes mate @Shelvock, I've seen you post on the FB group too that you still didn't have delivery of it yet. Collection tomorrow after delivery yesterday sounds like a proper quick turn around and perfectly timed for the nice weather and bank holiday weekend! I hope you get some quality time with it amongst some family commitments

Haha yea I think they're desperate to close the deal before month end so they hit their targets, they've phoned me more times today alone than they have since I placed the order 🤦🏽‍♂️😂

Cheers pal, the problem this weekend will mostly be not being sober enough to drive it 😁 but I should get some time with it on Saturday.

Skoda HQ should be able to give you a status code that will tell you exactly where your order is in terms of build status, these are the codes and meanings for the UK but the should be the same bar the shipping codes

Thanks for the codes! :) I'll be sure to get the exact code that I'm stuck on and its description the next time I contact the dealer. It will be interesting to compare to the ones you've provided.

And there we have it, ordered February 13th and picked up yesterday evening. So around 14 weeks in total which is pretty good I'd say.

Thanks very much. I am selfishly happy that it's not available anymore if I'm honest 😁

Just DCC and the variable boot floor as options, very pleased with it

Nice one  best colour and shape too #meteorestate = best estate. The tech seem okay? When you go on familiar roads and switch from sport to comfort I think you can really feel the difference man.

The DCC is an amazing option. The only thing I don't like is the augmented engine sound...

I know it's annoying the not remembering setting thing, but we just have to get used to: mode button press, individual, mode button press and your done. Moving between my partners Mk5 golf and this is loads more of a mind ****, manual handbrake and everything!

The sat nav threw a bit of a wobbler earlier and decided I was at home, when I was actually about 10 miles away, but it righted itself eventually. Other than that it's been fine, I have given a it a bit of stick but trying to be gentle for the first 800 miles 🤣

Delighted for ya Shevlock after what probably felt like such a long wait.

Enjoy all the miles ahead in her 👍

We ordered our Style Combi iV late March and took delivery last saturday. The car feels great in every aspect. We're especially happy that we chose beige Suedia interior - it looks and feels oh-so-classy

is yours like alcantara or leather?

Hi ya,

Fewer codes here in Sweden but meaning about the same (did not get all, only the last four):

6 - with production order

7 - vin

8 - in transit from factory/in transit to Dealer

9 - at dealer

I've been stuck on 6 since the second week of May and still am. Dealer claims that Skoda HQ Sweden says that the car has been built but that there are parts still missing (beats me how it can be built when there are parts missing :wondering:). Have contacted Skoda HQ Sweden several times asking for more information and they say they will get back to me but they never do. Poor customer service and poor communication seems to be a common factor regardless of country when dealing with Skoda (in times when a little effort is required on their behalf). The dealer has been supportive though.

Hi everyone im new on here i thought i would share my experience with skoda uk.

I ordered an octavia rs on the 30th march 2021 with loads of extras i was told by the dealer it could be 2-3 months for delivery 3 weeks ago i was given an unconfirmed buid week of 35 week comencing 23rd august i had call from dealer last tuesday saying no update i had a call today 2nd june dealer said every car that has been ordered has dissapeared off factory system so they dont know if & when the cars are going to be built. I called skoda uk & got told they are not giving any information about any orders so i will have to wait until im contacted by somebody (but they dont know who or when) dealer said i cant have my deposit back until skoda say they are not building the car.....wish i had never picked skoda..

The current situation is bad with any brand you pick, it is strange however that they don't know how bad the delay would be.

Every car ordered by the dealer has been lost from the system?

maybe the issue is the dealer.
im waiting for my build date but it’s only been ordered two weeks so I will be happy if I get it for the new reg in September

seems a pants scenario for you tho

If it's a factory order placed 2 weeks ago, I'd be very surprised if you see it any time in September...

My car was ordered 10 weeks ago and I've been told on the Skoda UK chat that my order was accepted by the factory 2 weeks ago and I won't be informed of my build week until some time in July. (For clarity, my build week isn't in July... But in July, I will be told my eventual build week...)

I'm realistically expecting delivery in Oct/Nov. Maybe.

Given that the factory has accepted my order, I'm hoping that it'll still be in Meteor Grey in spite of it being removed from the configurator. Not heard anything to the contrary yet...

Wow.. thanks for thar dave2912

I think then based on that

we all have no choice but to wait patiently with everything crossed and hope once we get our new pride and joy it doesn’t have a catalogue of problems!

I hope you you do get the meteor grey

I ordered it on mine and the dealer rang me to ask me to pick another colour.

so… I know mamba green is in France and Ireland already

it is being released here on June 21st it will be called hyper green

so I ordered that instead..

Did you get it with auxiliary heating? DCC?

Hi.

We thought about the auxiliary heater but decided not to get it. If it had served also as an engine heater then probably. DCC yes, I have a very limited experience yet since it's the wife's car. Definitely a good choice though, especially since iV is a bit heavier vehicle.

At least in Finland iV Style comes standard with 18" alloys, the winter wheels are also 18" (black Comet).

Thanks for the info!

My guess still holds, ie that it is the auxiliary heater that is the reason why I'm not getting my car, but I can rule out the DCC.

I assumed that it also served as an engine heater, that's why I ordered it. Bummer.

"Black comet", great looking alloys!

Saw that the Sportline trim is now offered in Finland and that the hatchback version of the Octavia is still "buildable" on skoda.fi. Either Skoda doesn't like Sweden or Skoda Sweden are clueless, because no hatchbacks are longer "buildable" (neither the Octavia nor the Superb) on skoda.se (if it's just an IT oversight or whether hatchbacks no longer can be ordered, I don't know) and the Sportline trim is not selectable for the estate, which it is in Finland.

Weird, two countries right next to eachother with the same climate.

Skoda configurator is broken all the time in Lithuanian page, also in northern region. My dealer told me to use the price list to choose options instead of the configurator, because there are more and they had more accurate prices.
