Also small offtopic - I have also ordered the velvet red metallic color, but in most pictures it is not possible to detect the actual color. Also in your image bumper looks darker than the bonnet (picture/lighting issues), could you describe which one is closer to the overall look of the car>

 

2.0TSI with DCC, alcantara seats, vitual pedal for boot and traveller assist.

 

As to the color. Its somewhere in between. Its a darker shade of red, really stands out and looks way better than the discontinued non-metallic red.

Mr car arrived on Friday, I think I ordered it in June (would have to check) and it was pushed back from November to February arrival date so it’s actually early. 
SEL iV with interior LED pack, optional black wheels (which although the same size as standard 17” look bigger and certainly style suits the car so much better) and petrol blue colour. 
Not cleaned properly yet - was a bit dirty as it was delivered on a flat bed truck from Cambridge all the way up to me in West Yorks. However the garage did a really good wax job as the water is beading off very nicely.

The usual cruise control issues, blind spot detection and lane assust not working, the sat nav mph issue plus some other random things. Not a great first experience

Same colour as I ordered on the same car. I think it looks really good which is a positive as I wasn't 100% sure on the colour. Good to know timescales as I'm probably a month and a bit later and was hoping for March so probably on for that. 👍

Update from the dealer on mine today. VRS estate hybrid ordered mid Sept. No additional options selected.  Unconfirmed build date of week 17 so potentially deliverable late May. 
 

I won’t be holding my breath😄

It’s definitely a colour which looks good when it’s kept shiny and waxed but I’ve seen older cars with the same colour - people who have probably taken it though drive in hand car washes - and they look dull and drab when dirty. 

Collected my VRS iV estate/combi this evening ordered end of July in UK.  Looks great in Race Blue at night but not had chance to get a proper look or drive yet. Options fitted are DCC, Canton, blind spot/side assist, rear camera, wireless charging, front and rear winter pack with tri-zone climate, virtual pedal. Picture taken in near freezing conditions and car starting to ice over. Good luck to forum members on getting their cars quickly. Worth the wait.

Absolutely this. I had a VRS TDI on a 66 plate, picked it up in Milton Keynes and struggled to get near 35mpg on the long motorway run home. Genuinely thought it was a mistake given I was doing over 35k a year at the time and changing very regularly. By the time it had 1500 miles on the clock is was starting to look far more sensible with mid 50s being the norm.

If my car arrives in time, it's first trip will be a 600 mile round trip to Scotland and back, hopefully with some fun miles in between! That should help me nicely, on the way to a full run in! 😁

Big news from the dealer, my RS ordered in May is finally done and arriving to Lithuania. No spec changes afaik, other than new colour.

 

 

What is even more strange is that the dealer also received another RS that was configured by the factory and it also has Canton, but it's a MY22 since it has the challenge pack too. They're currently selling it, without any discount obviously. 🤣 So it seems like Canton is still possible to put in, but they don't let you order it. Maybe trying to fill all the orders and build up stock for the next year?

I've ordered on august and kept the Canton. According to dealer its going to production on week 6 with canton. It's possible but may cause delays.

Call from the dealer yesterday: my car is in Emden awaiting the ferry. Depending on how soon it gets on to a ferry, it should be ready for delivery to me 2 - 3 weeks from now. Car was built in week 1, which does appear to have actually been the case despite reports of factory closure etc.

Car is a 1.5 SE estate, only options being the simply clever and LED light packs, plus metallic paint. Ordered last week of September 2021 so looks like 4 months all up, much faster than I was initially advised.

seems to be the same for french people, myskoda website to follow the order of our car doesn't even exist here !

It's no better in the UK. I ordered early August but there's been no information or sign of progress since then. I like to pretend that the longer it takes the better the software will be...

There is nothing to follow. If there was, your dealer would provide that information. Even they have nothing to follow.
