Should I assume that if I ordered nonRS Octavia (Style) I can expect less chance for delays?

You should assume nothing. :) Many people who didn't order RS are still waiting more than a year. I am waiting 10 months, also nonRS Octavia (Style).

Another delayed nonRS Style, 9,5 months at the moment.

If that forum story about week 22 is true than we can expect cars to arrive to all those that are waiting for months with "car unfinished" satus...

Luckily week 22 is just around the corner so we will have some news soon 🙃

when is week 22 and hope the story is true.

assume = ASS of U and ME 🤕

I was reading this forum for a few months now,  so let me share my story.

I ordered my car at the end of July 2021 (Slovenia). It is 1.5TSI Style with some additional features (light interior, camera, travell assistent, seat warmer... )

At first delivery was planed 4-8 months. But yea, we all know how that went xD.

I think at Feb (7 months of waiting), before war at Ukraine I got a estimated date for 25 week of 2022 (end of June), but i knew it, that this was just a fairy tail :D

So yesterday i decided to go and visit my car salon in person. Dealer told me my new estimated date as 04/2023, but he added that this date is just   some kind of auto respons from Skoda, so it's not accurate at all. It can be a lot sooner or even later.

The main problem currently are wirings for petrol engines (Tsi), which were made in Ukraine.

Bottom line... I think it will take a few more months before I get any useful information about my car.

Some information from Bulgaria :

Ordered before 4 months Octavia IV RS 2.0TDI 7 DSG 200 h.p with additional features (DCC,ACC, electric boot and etc ..) before 1 week, dealer call me to tell, that the production is stopped for this engine and have issues with some features and the car can come 2023 lately ... So, they make me a deal to buy 2.0TDI 7 DSG 150 h.p with gifts from skoda like DCC and ACC for less price and less delivery date - approx 7 months.. The situation is terrible now with this RS models, next time will drive RS after 5 years maybe ..

i m not sure you can have 200hp diesel anymore in 5 years... and that will be a real problem for me too (70 000km/year)

Well, we will drive then a electric (bull****) cars and everything should be calculated 100 % for your trip ..

I saw the news, that harness production is online, and they are doubling the production. That reason for tsi ir actually very interesting.

Care to remind us about how much information did you get between ordering and this email?

Seems like you did not have much time between production date to shipping?

For me it should take about 4-6 weeks from finished to delivery. Yours went to production early this month and its already heading your way?

Just called my dealer, he told me that the factory promised to finish this year all cars that have been ordered in 2021.  However he said, that he is not guaranteeed, that is true, because he said that factory have two major problems, doors and harness.

New cases just keep coming, good job Skoda 👍

Some news (or rather no news) from my dealer: Porsche Slovenia asked the dealers not to check the status of unfinished vehicles on a daily basis, because they have no info from the factory about the finishing date. The last info they got from the factory was that the vehicles would be finished in 3 months after production has been confirmed (their words, not mine, so not sure if this is within 3 months after being parked somewhere in the field). According to the dealer there are at least 100 ordered vehicles parked. My next question was if there were any new deliveries lately, but I guess it was sent past the working time and will maybe receive something tomorrow.
So basically, stop asking, they have no clue whatsoever 😁

The "will finish 3 months after first time in production" is nonsense. Mine has been parked since February. There are no news when it would be in final assembly.

The dealer is Vrtač, Kranj. I have waited 10+ months.

I have contacted the dealer a few times in the past 10 months but got no information except date being pushed back. The first information I got was the beginning of this month, that the car is going to production.

i ask what is missing on my car. i ask Skoda CZ and they for infoline foward email to customer support specialists. and as you may know.

Nothing to this day hehehe. crazyyyy :)

we must just sit and wait

and anyone maybe know what will be different between 2022 and 2023 model year

@MaximusMeridius look's like that will be a lot of Delay edition Octavia on road's ;)

This is their problem. Let them bring this up to Skoda, not to the dealers.

Hi guys! A few days ago I found this forum after searching for more information about delivery times for Škoda Octavia, and since then I've been reading through this topic to get a better picture of how things actually work. Now, after reading through most of the posts in this topic it seems natural for me to share my experience.

So, I have ordered my Octavia Style on the 14th of July last year. At that moment I was told that the approx. waiting time is 9 months, with which I was cool since I didn't need new car immediately. So the 9-month period I was told about ended on the 14th of April and the car obviously didn't arrive.

Since the end of January, I am periodically calling my sales representative to see if there is something new happening about the delivery. At the end of January, I was told that my car was ready for production but then it halted because of the fire in Mlada Boleslav. From that point on every time I would call my sales representative he would tell me that situation is pretty bad and that I should prepare for a scenario in which the car will be delivered at the end of 2022. or beginning of 2023. So he was straight with me since the beginning of this agony, which I appreciate very much.

Despite all these negatives, last phone call with a sales rep. was somewhat positive because he told me that my car is finally in production. He also told me that I should not get my hopes too high just yet because even if it is possible that the car will arrive in 1 month more realistic scenario is that I will have to wait 3 to 4 more months for the delivery.

And that is my experience so far. I will try and update you with any new information that I receive.

To whom it may concern...I am from Croatia and I ordered my Octavia from one of the dealerships near Zagreb.
