Yes, they are sticking it out. One of my colleagues has an Audi A3 on order (ordered at the same time) and that's not expected until March 2023.

Daily mileage is mixed, anything from 60 miles a day to 250+ depending on location.

Work remotely and no word yet on their charging policy.

Did you select a PHEV for the same reason I did….the company car tax being a lot cheaper?

Also…I’m jealous that your leasing company are keeping you up to date. Mine have been rubbish, and I don’t feel like they are fighting my corner (even though I know it won’t speed anything up).  I almost want to be lied to now and given a provisional date 😭

  • After 13 months waiting my SEL iV Plug in Hybrid arrived.    All seems good with it so far, just to understand some of the infotainment features!

It's not built yet.

I don't know if most people are still updating that spreadsheet, but judging by comments here, I am the only one here pushing almost 14 months now without estimated delivery date. Anyone still here whose order date is before mine and is without production date? 😞

You're not the only one. I've ordered two days after you, and so far I've had 'provisional' build date that was pushed and pushed and pushed. So essentially there's no real delivery date because that provisional one as as good as rot in tomato.

There's not too much in common between our orders though: different engines, different transmission, different options.

Different options could be quite misleading since different countries have different gadgets as default. I had thought of making comparison chart of default options in different countries but its way too much work. 😂

Hi! I am 9 days behind you with my order date. I got some information about a date Feb 2023! So nothing good yet.

All of the cars on the list were PHEV. A few other brands as an option such as BMW, Audi & Hyundai but always liked the vRS estate.

Company car tax saving can't come soon enough, currently have a diesel Mondeo with an automatic gearbox 🤮

The leasing company we are using have an App, currently showing 'scheduled for build, ETA early Jan 2023'.

Ordered in the August of 2021, no delivery date or any information whatsoever.so you not alone. Promised myself, that this is my first and last Škoda. Terrible experience.

I ordered 2 weeks before you did and last week I was confirmed week 37 as build date (next week). I suppose yours won't take much longer. 🤞🏼

I got a mail today from the dealer, that I am unable to change the rims on my order anymore. Car is planned for production, but I don't know exactly when. So maybe you are on to something with your statement @SpanishJose.

Just informed by my leasing company in the UK that my Octavia Iv SE Tech estate (kombi) won't be delivered until January 23 at the earliest.  It was ordered in October 21.  15 months.  I'm expecting it to go much longer than this.

What I can't understand is that I got an amazing deal (3 years/12,000 miles per year.  Total cost is 30% of the market value of the car).....after such a long time period how can they continue to support that deal?  The leasing company insist it will be honoured.

Let's see!

Happy for you, that you got some information ;)

I have just heard from the leasing company:-

'All IV product is delayed due to supply of the noise generator when on electric.'

Yesterday I was told by my dealer that they are expecting my VRS by the end of the month, but they can't give me an exact date. I'm a little suspicious that there's less than 4 weeks to go and they can't say. I'm not holding my breath.

But this doesn't apply to mhev?

Mine has been released from the factory for well over a month now.

just told there are delays in transit.

I spotted this:

https://craneww.com/knowledge-center/latest-news-and-info/port-strike-germany/

hopefully that explains it, and now an agreement has been reached, things can start moving again!

i wonder what’s next? Typhoon in the North sea perhaps?

There’s bound to be something else!

I ordered my Skoda Octavia plug in hybrid SE Technology in January 2022. No optional extras and in solid blue as that is all I was allowed with my company car. I’ve been given an estimated date for delivery of 29th June 2023. That’s 17 months from ordering. I’m flabbergasted that it is taking too long.

Im already up to 16 months, and still counting for a vrs iv, also a company car.

it’s tough, but what alternative is there?

I’m not sure there’s a manufacturer out there at the moment that can honestly supply a new car within what used to be considered a reasonable time frame. I’m sure things will get better for you.

Personally, I’ve found depths of restraint I haven’t experienced since waiting for the lego set my mother left in plain sight in the run up to Christmas back in 1989

i hope things get better soon for everyone

Should not. It doesn't need a "noise generator" (lol, we live in interesting times) since the normal engine is always on when the car is moving.
