The Audi gear knob is a nice touch. Needs the sporty metal pedals too I would say just to round off the interior.

Cheers I’ve got a few more bits to do to the interior just waiting for some warmer weather :)

Been playing with fitting facelift dash panels so I could get the ambient lighting as I have all the wiring there already just needed the panels.

so brought a facelift stereo and swapped my headunit to it and sprayed the surround black, found a Up Beats dash set that had white ambient lights so swapped them over. Just need one switch that’s on order,

came out really well. Citigo never got the beats sound system but I retrofitted that all from the gti, the amplifier rear speakers and sub in boot. So it is truely a citigo Beats 😂

just on the look out for another steering wheel now

I have a lot of love for this car. I was following the progress via my Instagram but I smashed my phone so I'm locked out of @weeredfabia until I remember the password. Popped you a follow on my personal account though. :)

Cleans up well,

I have a few changes happening this week

swapping springs to h&r so should be an extra 10mm down front and rear over the eibachs.
New rear top mounts and various new nuts and bolts for the suspension side as it’s been on and off a couple of times now.

Powerflex arb bushes

Yellowstuff front pads

then off to Motorist hub on Sunday with a few up owners

Some new bits
- Swapped the Eibach springs out for h&r so should be around 10mm down front and rear
- EBC Yellowstuff pads to go with the Ebc slotted discs I already have
- Powerflex arb bushes
- Various genuine new bolts and rear top mounts

Ciao! I read your build history, as for small cars, i like your project!
I'm asking for your feedback on the TT seats you have fitted. I'm 1.78m tall, in this car I do not find a good match between seat position and the clutch lever, in detail when I have to release it (I set the steering wheel centered in height so I can see the dashboard without cut). I tried shim under the seat rails 10-15mm, for the front bolts, to make seat base inclined. I felt a slight improvement, it didn't last long. Let me know your feedback.
For yours, I also suggest disc brakes at the rear, I've heard they are the same parts as the Polo/Fabia and I saw that you had a crashed GTI at your disposal, have you considered fitting the rear spoiler?

Thanks for reading. Yes I would like rear discs in the future as for the seats You do sit quite low with the TT seats although it suited me I’m 1.88m someone on the up owners clubs forum did fit them too but his daughter struggled to reach the pedals properly

Seen it on Motorist and cracking car mate.

You really need some more modern steering wheel, recently get fabia monte carlo leather steering wheel for mine and it feels so much better.

Just looking at that rear end pics again Trevor, I wonder if the strip reflector off the Octavia could be made to fit along the edge of the bumper under the number plate and could you get a more squared off tail pipe finisher to make it a bit less VW and more vRSy?😂

Not suggesting you must do anything with it, just wondering out loud!😁

are the tt seats plug and play or what do you need to do to make them work in the car?

No not plug and play runners need modding slightly at front and new holes drilled in rear, they are physically same width as originals then airbags rewiring and passenger occupancy sensor swapping in passenger seat. I made mine plug and play

Nice; switchable ASR was the only reason I got through one snow drift.
