Hey
Just had a chance to play around with coding a little bit through obdEleven. Most of the information was taken from the current topic. Thanks to everybody for sharing the information!

My summary for now:

instruction used to enable

turbocharger pressure

  • Module 17 -> Adaptation -> Charging pressure

torque (nM)

  • Module 17 -> adaptation -> Engine torque

power (kWt)

  • Module 17 -> adaptation -> Engine power

G-meter

  • Module 17 -> adaptation -> G-meter

Does not display anything in my case

steering angle

  • Module 17 -> long coding -> OFFROAD -> Display

An icon appears, angle is displaying correctly, but the turn side is inverted

refuel quantity

  • Module 17 -> long coding -> Volume to be replenished -> yes

An icon appears, but no data, just ---l

oil temperature

  • oneClick App

DSG temperature

  • Module 17 -> adaptation -> Transmission temperature

vRS welcome screen

  • (Module 17 -> long coding -> Start screen -> Version 3)

vRS cockpit screen

Video of the "inverted steering angle" option

Hey @archi332 good to know you've joined the coding club 😁

Your next mission is to work out how to change the colours when you put the background lighting into 'mode' mode.

Instructions on how to do it on a golf are here:

https://www.vwgolfcommunity.com/vb/forum/vw-golf-world/vw-golf-8/interni-ad/1414069-luci-ambientali-preimpostati-come-modificare (Google translate will do the obvious)

But essentially it's module 09 > interior-light-general> mapping_fpa_profile_xx. You need to change the value and see what happens! I've done the attached so far!

Ideally I want the following

Normal - white

ECO - green

Comfort - pale blue

Sport - red

Individual - purple

My current setting is the last entry in the spreadsheet, and it's not ideal!

Have fun!

Wow, thanks for sharing that!

At very beginning I thought such functionality should exist from box, but did not found how to setup this

Will follow your findings 💪

It was really easy to do on the mk3.5, but seems to be much more complicated on the mk4!

@Chrisg2021, Here is the coding if you would like to do it by yourself. Bear in mind that beside the dongle you will also need a Pro subscription.

Lane Assist to "Last setting"
Driver assistance (module A5) > long coding > Configuration for lane departure warning KI15 > change to "last setting"

Standard ACC
Control unit 13
Long coding
Cruise control mode
Set to: Activated

Cheers

Enabling standard CC does not work/show in my 2020 Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI.... ODBEleven encounters an error, without explaining what went wrong (App encountered an error")".

Any more details on how to activate this option please?

So my Octavia is getting near to me. OBD11 with 2y pro subscription is waiting to arrive perhaps next week.

Could you guys confirm/assist me on the settings i'm planning to do for the RS iV.

  • Headlight washer delay to 2500ms

  • Start/Stop button heartbeat (***)

  • ACC overtaking enable

  • Normal cruise

  • Light assistant memory

  • Daylight rear lights (****)

  • Trunk alarm sound off

  • Foglights on revers (if not alreadl)

  • Keep windows working after shutdown

  • Seatbelt warning disable (*)

  • Lock car when running (*****)

  • Needle sweed (Didnt see it enabled on youtube videos) (**)

  • Disable beeping when opening door when engine on

Are these are doable with OBD11?

I believe the headlight washer delay requires an SFD unlock, which is possible with the Pro?

Can someone confirm that these all are possible and has been done? Can i do all of them with the OBD11? (as much with long coding as possible)

I've got 200 credits, which i can also use. But would not like to spend all at once :)

Listed the ones i found some steps. Are they working?

* Control unit 17 -long coding- seat belt warning version1, version 2 or off- set off to turn off warning

** Control unit 17 -long coding-Staging set yes

*** https://forum.obdeleven.com/thread/7261/engine-button-heartbeat-effect-keyless

**** 1.Module 09 - Electronic control unit 2.Adaptation 3.Daytime running light 4.Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht: - (Change value to On)

***** Control Unit 09 -> Adaptation -> ZV allgemein -> funk bei klemme15- set active

I would love to enable the Engine button heartbeat. However, the highlighted entries below could not be found in ODBeleven for my Skoda Ocatvia IV 2020 when searched with the word "lights" :

Adaptation
_ _ Control unit: B7 Access Startsystem Interface
_ _ Name: DeveloperCoding: Search lights
_ _ Values:
_ _ _ ZATillumination_concept_mybeat_clamp58xt:
_ _ _ _ _ _ Old value: Not activated
_ _ _ _ _ _ New value: activated
_ _ _ ZATillumination_modus_mybeat_clamp58xt:
_ _ _ _ _ _ Old value: Not activated
_ _ _ _ _ _ New value: activated

Please advice?

I would like to have the extra option on the metering display to select the normal CC. How to activate such?

PS: I have ACC in the metering menu present, just not normal CC...

following: unit 13, unlock SFD, Coding, CC To active........ Control unit 17, unlock SFD, adaptation, display longitudinal control coordinator, CC active...... Attention, both depend on HW and SW

I had to add the security code first, next it worked as per your instructions. Thank you!

A thank you for the post would be a nice gesture ☺️

Dear forum users,

To lower the ADD (flipper-handle up/down) 10KM steps back to 5 or 1KM, who can share the coding for this change, please? (Skoda Octavia IV 2020)
