Tested that one and working ... but in my case the adaptation is called in a different way: there are 2 variables instead one ... Ausgabe MoLaWa_AAW from active to not_active and Unterdrückung der Zündungswarnung from active to not_active.

I drive 2023 Skoda Octavia that does not seem to have ambient lightning in the cockpit. Does anyone happen to know if the hardware is still present in the car and I could enable it by coding?

I have the same question.

No, it's not. You need all the lights and everything in order to retrofit it.

Have a question - i have 2023 mk4 and want to do some coddings, but dealer told me that if i plug obd11 and made any changes, the warranty will be gone, because of the online Skoda services.

does this is true and can i do it without anyone can see it ?

hello, warranty will be gone when you : clear error code or reset service inetrval, do something with mechanics work, and turn off start stop or seat belt.... other coding all safe because your car only has those things when you unlock them.
you don't have to worry, we code 3.4 new cars under warranty every day and warranty not gone ... :)  we coding new car skoda audi seat bmw and other .... :) dont wory

Hello,

so does this mean, that codding like - needle sweep, vrs theme on digital cockpit + torque monitor can be used, without warranty gone ?

I find it really hard to believe that deleting any error code at all would invalidate the warranty. I've been deleting a bunch of intermittent communication bus error codes and the likes every once in a while to tidy everything up when scanning. Dealer hasn't mentioned anything during visits...

Yes but sometime  dealer can see resrt interval or delete dtc code in ecu parameter..

Great thread any new adaptions like the headlight washer delay?.

@petopzdiag

do you have a more updated list of coding available for the mkiV vrs?

I used your original list and successfully coded :

G-meter

Volume to be replenished

but Lap timer didn't seem to work - when i get to Control unit 17 adaptation-personalization -display _laptimer to active - it wont accept that change ( gives error 31)

There are a couple of other things i want to do, can you help with these?

Rear teardrop wipe

set ambient colors in 'mode' setting to specific colours.

set convenience turn signal from 3 to 5

Also i took up the free offer from skoda for extra ambient colours and  additional functions, They are free for the first month, after which i'll want to code them in, you've already shared the extra colours, do you have a 'how to' for the additional features?

Hello,

for No2 (ambient colors in "mode"  please see this link

and this

If you have OBD11 maybe you could successfully change the colors.

I have seen these posts, but wasn't able to change the values in the modes, don't know if there was a previous step I missed?

You know about SFD lock right? Are you familiar with this?

Yes, control unit 09 was unlocked.

I am aware that this guide was for a golf, has anyone managed to get it to work for an octavia?

This doesn't work for the Octavia, probably because the golf only had four dive modes, while the octy had five. I can change the values in the interior lights general settings, but it just does random things. None of the mapping_fpa_profilexx settings seem to relate to the drive modes.
