i have issue with fabia taking longer slaves to start

 

today i found interesting which solves the issue i believe

 

background , i usually keeping car on gears whilst parking (maybe issue develop due to this)

 

issue maybe solved but not sure need advice

 

- -- - - - -- when i turn off the engine i put gear to third and make it neutral when start it work fine / but when i turn off engine and put gear on 4th or 2nd and then neutral when start it take longer salves (anyone know why is that).

Hopefully someone can help.

So what engine , petrol or diesel. 

Is it well serviced and the battery in good condition / state of charge?

 

Putting in gear and turning the wheel to the kerb and applying the parking brake is a good thing. 

That should not inhibit a car starting.

diesel battery recently replaced , service on time

Someone with mechanical knowledge will be along.

Sorry no idea what on time means as far as the servicing.

What mileage your car has done, if the fuel filter has been done, the air filter and other stuff other than oil and filter changes.

If all is well that way then good and the battery is strong then great.
