Does anybody know the part number for the assembly arrowed here? The numbers stamped on the parts themselves are 06a 133 783 the short pipe on the RHS, 200901, the valve, and PXO 416 541 3 for the Y piece. but dont seem to be correct.

Hi,

I own a 2004 Octavia 1.8T V20 4x4 with an ARX engine. It has been chipped with the RS settings.

I’ve had several problems with the engine, one day ago the N249 valve was replaced, and that was an enormous improvement. But now the N75 waste gate regulator valve is a bit suspect as well.

I know this valve is an almost mystical part, the internet is full of the magical properties of different versions of this valve, but also with the negative experiences of people who tried a different version.

As far as I’m aware the original part number from 2004 has been replaced by a later part number.

You list 058 906 283 F as the part number, is that still the current and latest part number?

The reason I’m asking is that I’ve read other part numbers as well, like 058906283C and 06A906283E.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

I'm really no expert!

I've only had a Skoda for a month, but what I have learned is that TPS (The Parts Specialist) are probably the best place to go if you want the right part for the car (I wasted a lot of time with after market shocks).

Having said that, with your car having standard (not sports) suspension (correct me if I'm wrong anyone), you may find standard springs pretty cheap on CarParts4Less - that's where I get most of my stuff from these days...

http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/car-springs

They list two different rear springs (£37 / £45) and one front spring (£44) all Sachs...

It’s still not clear for me if Sachs is OEM or a replacement for OEM?

My 2004 VRS has several issues: there are clicking noises like from the indicator, only more neurotic. Sometimes a lot and sometimes silent for weeks. I’ve heard this could be the indicator controller (don’t know the correct English word). The locking mechanism does seem to have similar issues, left side or right side, all seems possible. Sometimes everything is just fine or sorted with a double click on the remote key or inside locking controller. According I need a new controller, but don’t know the English word for it. Next to that the window has problems going up and down, I hope it’s not the mechanism (replaced 2 years ago) or wiring (tested this weekend by the dealer), so the motor had it’s best time. Last but not least: the left (drivers) mirror doesn’t seem to heat anymore. Any idea for correct translations or even part numbers so I can check alternatives on eBay?

Hi,

My front right driveshaft broke.  Skoda octavia 2001 4x4 150bhp ARX engine code.  I have located a part number from the dealer for the Skoda part, but it is not available in this country so will need specially ordering in at £388.  I have been trying to find out if any of the other vag range cars, vw, audi, seat might use the same driveshaft.  i have measured it up and it is total length 650mm, the inner cv where it connects to the transaxle is 100mm in diameter.  I am really struggling to find the part number for the skoda part, tried dealers on ebay and they all keep finding the right driveshaft for the VRS in their catalogues.  It's as if this driveshaft is not listed for the mk1 4x4 octavia.  This is the part number 1J0407452MX , cannot find an exact match for a new or even aftermarket OE part on ebay or amazon.

Kind regards,

Samuel Hale

RE:  Part no. for Rear coil spring bottom mount

Hello,

I need to replace both rear coil springs on my 2003 MK1 Octavia vRS Estate, and have already sourced the top rubber mounts, however am struggling to find the bottom mounts (even main dealer can get this for MK2 onwards, but not MK1).

Many thanks in advance of replies   :)

Just ordered a new lock cylinder from Motorline Dartford.  Lady in parts dept. says my late Mk1 1U2 car is the same part number for early Mk2. Around ten days delivery from factory as it comes matched to my chassis record. Pt. No. S107837168KR £36.48.
